This is the second set I've owned of the max but it's a lot better now since it was just an update in the beginning of July 2022. The heads that works amazing now however you still need that ridiculous USB stick to plug into your Xbox.

Snazzy headset

I’d not used a headset since the 360 days. The chat and game audio is phenomenal with the option to “boost” with superhuman hearing

Not worth the cost

I figured it wasn’t worth returning them. Then in June of 2024 the left headphone broke off at the joint in half. I took care of them and made sure to protect them. Not worth the money, got onto the app to see when I bought them and it asked for a review. I don’t recommend these for the price and quality it isn’t worth it.

Glued it and played on until a couple months later the other side broke. Thought that was ridiculous because I treated them very well, so I reached out to Turtle Beach and they said all they could do is offer me a discount code to buy another pair. No repair parts, no repair service, no warranty coverage (the original problem occurred within the 1 year warranty window)—why would I buy anything else from these guys.

The best headphones

Expensive but worth every penny. I had a pair of razor kraken ultimates which the mic didnt work. Returned those and saw these. I can’t recommend enough! You wont be disappointed

The range on the headset is extremely short, and there are connection problem and static even when the headset is two feet away from the dongle.

First one had the transmitter start to fall apart, then the headset itself started to crack around each ear. Then they sent a replacement and it won’t turn on after only a month or two of use. Avoid this headset.

Have you adjusted the volume level of the tones/voice prompts in your headset via the Audio Hub to find a more suitable level? If not, our Support Team is always happy to help as needed and can walk you through that process. In regard to the comfort; please know that we're sorry to hear you don't find the headset comfortable. We consistently provide a comfortable fit for the overwhelming majority of our customers, but due to the large variety of head and shape sizes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit 100% of our customers. As a heads up, please know your headset will break in over time, which should result in a better fit after you've used it for a while.
