It boasts that you can change volumes of game and chat independently but ive yet to have this feaure work, its either blasting game audio and chat or lowers both volumes together. Have used the headset maybe twice since i bought it now i just use my old one.

Thanks for your feedback. Is this in regard to controlling game/chat audio independently on the PlayStation?
If so, the Lower Volume Dial can be assigned to Chat Audio ONLY when the transmitter is in the XBOX mode and is being used with an Xbox console. When the transmitter is in the USB Mode, and is being used with a PlayStation console, PC, or Nintendo Switch in docked mode, there is no way to assign the Lower Volume Dial to Chat Audio. This is a result of the limitations related to the way these platforms process the audio, and is not related to the headset itself.

Went through the turtle Beach support website and downloaded whatever they asked me to and restored it. And now it will not pair with the USB. Absolute total garbage. I will never buy another turtle Beach product again. This is a second 700 series I've owned and both have cut out on me. I'm only getting them because they have Bluetooth but it's time to look elsewhere. Do not buy this product.

Good morning! Please ensure that your headset & its USB transmitter have been updated to the newest firmware available for it via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS. This new firmware should get your headset up and running properly, improving its overall volume levels, Bluetooth pairing process, & connectivity to its transmitter.

Due to the wide variations in head sizes and shapes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit absolutely 100% of all users. However, we consistently provide a comfortable fit for the overwhelming majority of our customers. Please bear in mind that your headset will break in over time, which should result in a better fit after you've used it for a while.

I updated the firmware of the dongle and the headset using PC and was successful. 2. The headset is very tight and after gaming for a couple of hours I started having a head ache. 3. The wireless connection to the Xbox series X worked first test and passed. 4. Audio was fine but then I started to notice that the audio was not in sync with the game. Turned off and on the headset without having any changes. 5. Tried on my Razer blackshark v2 pro via 3.5mm to controller and the audio was fine. 6. Tried to connect the Stealth 700s again and audio is still cutting out still having issues.......even tried removing wireless dongle and re inserting it whatever.... 7. Only had the headphones for a couple of hours after purchase and was not impressed. 8. Returned purchased item to Bestbuy. :) In conclusion the headset is NOT comfortable at all and wireless connection is trash.. my honest review

No instructions on Bluetooth connection

This is absolutely ridiculous. It’s always a struggle. Other than that they are okay not the best do not recommend.

The Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX comes with a written Quick Start Guide which contains Bluetooth pairing instructions for the headset, along with other set up instructions. Those instructions state:
1. Hold down the Bluetooth button on the headset until the "Bluetooth Pairing" prompt plays (this prompt will play AFTER the Bluetooth powering on prompt, so be sure to hold the button long enough).
2. After placing your headset in pairing mode select the headset in your device's Bluetooth Settings menu to connect to your headset.
These instructions can also be found within the copy of the Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox's Quick Start Guide that is listed on the Turtle Beach website.
