    I wanted to like them but the connection is weak. The headset cuts out offen i am only 6 ft away from the xbox series x the last gen headset was great but they messed the gen 2 version up very disappointed!!

    Forreal listen to ur customers reviews.! These are garbage 100% Why? Because the audio will constantly crack an cut out if you are using these for Gaming on an Xbox X series. Dont buy these an Turtle Beach Fix these or dont sell them ! U know they suck!

    research issues before buying known issue they dont plan on fixing have had 3 headsets replaced thinking it was on my end when its Turtle beach and the transmitter

    If you have a router near buy stay away.

    I have my router in the same room I game in. All my devices are wire for the speed and reliability. That being said the 2.4ghz from my router renders these absolutely useless.

    It's not good at all threw the box away the only reason I didn't return it the Max didn't live up to it's name the last version was better cracked sounds all the time I wouldn't give this product away more less recommend someone buy it

    Don't waste your money

    I a lot of faith in turtle beach, given that I had previously used them for year without a problem. This one on the other hand stops working intermittently and its pretty annoying. Don't buy this item you will be disappointed.

    Tried to do the firmware update on this headset and it ruined the USB Transmitter. Could no longer connect to anything after. I am returning it for something that is more useable with the PS4 instead of something that it is a after thought for.

    Never pairs the first time. Crackles constantly. Fits so tight on my head that my sinuses get blocked and I can’t breathe through my nose. Wanted to give them a chance and missed the deadline to return them. Highly regret buying this.

    I used to have some Turtle Beach headphones back in my PS3 days and I really like them. I've been using a couple of other brands since then, but I was excited to try these latest ones from Turtle Beach since I knew they're a good brand. I wasn't disappointed--these are fantastic headphones with all the features that I'd been missing. When I pulled them out of the box, I was a little concerned that they'd be heavy and uncomfortable. I went straight into a 6 hour gaming session, though, and never had another concern. They were perfectly comfortable the whole time. Setup couldn't have been any easier. The USB transmitter has a single switch for XBOX or USB, USB being everything non-Xbox like PCs and Playstations. I switched it to USB, plugged it into the front of my PS4, powered on my headphones and they connected as easy as that. I tested the mic and sound levels, but didn't even have to adjust anything and it was ready to go. On my previous headphones, the thing I missed the most was the ability to adjust the main sound and chat volume separately. I was so happy to get this back on these headphones. The volume knobs are on the back of the left ear cup, so once I figured out where they were I could quickly and easily adjust them while playing. On the topic of sound, the quality is fantastic. Any outside noise is almost totally sealed out and I could hear even the smallest game sounds perfectly. A new feature (to me, anyway) that I absolutely love is the ability to mute the mic by flipping it up. If you flip it up about half way or more, you hear a tone so you know it activated. You can also see the light on the USB transmitter change to a slow pulsing red. I did sometimes forget that I was muted, so seeing the red light was a good reminder. This feature is SO much better than fumbling for a mute switch somewhere. This may not be something most people do, but sometimes I like to move one headphone off my ear so I can either talk to someone or listen for things going on outside the game. Even with these somewhat larger headphones, this still worked comfortably for me. I've had other headsets that just weren't designed for this and weren't comfortable to wear like that. Anyway, these headphones were just fine for the few minutes each time I wore them like that. Finally, the battery life appears to be more than enough for my game nights plus many more hours. When I'm done, I just connect them to a USB-C charging cable and they're ready to go next time. The one thing I wish these came with was some sort of case or bag to keep them in. Right now, I put them back in the box they came in to protect them from dust, curious cats, etc. but it'd be nice if there was a better case. That's a minor detail and I'm sure I'll find something better to keep them in eventually.

    They have not changed how cheap their plastic is. I bought this in December and the swivel arm has already cracked.
