Good controller, many flaws for value.

The good, Controller feels good quality. Screen is high tier for setting up your controller without a pc or an app ( app helps.) RGB look nice and can be customizable to your own preference. Joysticks are great and you are going to love the clicks on the buttons. Bumpers and triggers are good, triggers have two settings for fully or real close, wich is good for FPS games. Now the bad. vibration setting are nice, but I have them in max and control stops vibrating while being use for long periods of time. For example, shooting an lmg with 150 ammo. Right joystick randomly does an extra spin. when turning around it does a 180° or 90° turn, even after calibrating them. Dont like the placement of the center buttons options, xbox menu, screenshot, etc. Also, cant be modified to preference. Paddles feel weird, coming from a Astros A50 user. Keep pressing the wrong paddle since they are used with the same finger. Overall, not good price for value. Would pay $150 at most

I've purchased countless elite controllers. This pad is currently the better buy assuming the reliability is there. The buttons and dpad are mechanical with a great feel, and the trigger stops for FPS games are ideal. Moreover, it's very comfortable. There are some who say it's too light, but i disagree. It doesnt have to be heavy to feel premium. The other criticism is that the battery life is short. There's a simple remedy to this: set it to static and choose no color under the lighting settings on the controller's command center (great screen, not gimmicky, but useful). And lastly, once you get used to the back buttons they feel very, very good and intuitive.

I was super excited to use this controller. It was super comfortable to hold and was awesome using it when it worked correctly. Unfortunately the software is incredibly buggy and I was unable to update the firmware at all that provided fixes to the controller. Another issue was connection with wireless dongle. The controller would disconnect from the dongle periodically which was upsetting.

This is a great addition to my XBOX gaming platform. The controller sticks functionality is superior to stock type controllers. The buttons are mouse click and the shortcut buttons underneath do not get in the way during first person shoot outs. I would highly recommend this unit for all gamers, super lightweight and comfortable for hours of gaming enjoyment.

I will be comparing this controller to the Halo Elite Series 2 that has started to experience right stick drift and missing button presses after 2 years of use. I had actually just purchased a new core series 2 that I hadn't opened when I came across this controller. The controller is light. I have read that some equate weight with quality. I would disagree, though I do like the weight of my elite series 2. Also, as others have mentioned, the lack of stick options is a bit of an oversight, but the option to add additional thumb stick pads is compensatory 'enough' as I would assume that having magnetic sticks would alter the field for the anti-drift mechanisms. I was fortunate enough to not have a lot of the QC issues others seem to have had, but there are shortcomings to this otherwise solid controller. After updating the firmware, I started to adjust the settings. While I had no trouble finding the app in the Microsoft store, none of the settings held on the controller. The changes persist in the app but will not apply on the device. I made changes on the controller itself and they do not hold, either. LED lights remain the same intensity (though I ultimately turned them off), remaps don't hold, and dead zones wouldn't reset. The workaround to make them hold has been to make an adjustment and then exit out with the '+' button while still inside each and every individual setting. I hope/assume that a firmware update will correct this issue. I don't have an issue with the additional USB required for connection. I always keep the stand connected and returne the controller to it at the end of each gaming session and the design allows for the stand to still utilize only one port. As far as the amount of time required to charge, it is very quick. Battery life thus far has seemed to become longer with use as well. Initially, the indicator seemed to be short on the first day using 50% in four hours, but I think the reading is more accurate over the last two days. An 8-hour session each of those two days has left me with around 65% charge each time (with screen and LED strips off). It is as if it needed to 'learn' the left and right of the charge levels. The buttons are responsive with a more tactile feel than my series 2. The presses don't seem to require as much of a deliberate effort. The sticks require a bit of an adjustment as to the feel, though. Having the magnetic field means a little less resistance (I kept the series 2 on a medium or high tension depending on the game) but may not be as big an adjustment for someone coming from a regular controller. Now that I am adapting the responsive nature is very precise and welcome. I do find that the right directional pad occasionally misses, but that may be due to the change in the D-pad surface. The primary issues that I have with this controller are with the placement of the list/page menu buttons and the mapping for the rear buttons. The page button is in an atrocious position as it is obstructed by left stick. In games that utilize that button like MWIII, it is incredibly annoying. A firmware update that would allow you remap them to the back buttons would mitigate that. I know that Turtle Beach has already publicly stated that an update will allow mapping the LB and RB to the back. These should be added as well. I don't generally use the two flat buttons (P2 and P3) but being able to have list/page here would be welcome. I use a wireless headset, so I can't speak to the effectiveness of those controls, but Turtle Beach really missed an opportunity to allow settings changes of their own wireless headsets via the controller. This is especially true when both have Bluetooth. Perhaps that can be addressed at a later date as well. In all, after only three days of usage, I think this is a keeper, particularly if there is longevity from the anti-drift sticks and button responsiveness that plague other controllers. The other issues will hopefully be addressed with firmware updates moving forward.

Direct from my 15 y/o gamer son: The Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra Wireless Controller is perfect. The amount of changes I can make to it through the free app I installed are endless. I also love the fact I can customize the colour of the controller. The stick drift on this controller is 0; it is perfect for gaming and has never let me down once. The amount of possibilities and changes to make my gaming experience are fun, endless, and easy to do. It takes less than an hour to charge and stays charged at least 24 hours, and you can easily play while it is charging. I returned a Scuff gaming controller 3 times because of insane stick drift.

I have used the elite 1 and 2 since they released and really enjoy them. I wanted to try this one and here are the differences. First thing it's crazy light compared. It's feels cheaper, but I actually enjoyed how light it was. The buttons on the back are right in the center of the handles. It takes some getting use to compared to the elite because the elite has them stacked vertically down the handle and this one puts them perpendicular to the handle towards the middle of the back. I do wish they were a little higher and not centered, but it's a wash. The elite had serious problems with its shoulder buttons. These will much better to use and not as cheap but time will tell. The start and select button are moved from the middle of the controller to the very top next to each joystick. This has to be the absolute worst placement for these buttons ever. Want to be you can't press the buttons very easily without lifting your hand up and over the joystick so you don't move the joystick to press the button it's obnoxious. Programming this thing is a breeze with the screen on the controller. You can do stuff on the Fly you can change all the colors it's really nice. The social stuff I can't ever get to work so that's a negative to me but I wouldn't use it that much for that anyways. The buttons feeling incredible pressing every single one of them and having the record button on the controller like most of the newer Xbox controllers is really nice as well. I do hate the d-pad and that you can't remove pieces like the joysticks to swap out for different sizes. I'm speaking of joysticks they do feel really smooth they say they won't drift which time will tell but there still seem to be some issues with maybe the programming around the edges especially. Now some weird things about the control that I'm not sure about. The joysticks have some serious problems at the edge of the range that it doesn't seem like you can get 'corners' very well. It's very noticeable if you have a radial menu and a game you're playing because it's hard to get to the top edges ' corners' of the radial. It also randomly disconnects from the console saying controller not recognized and you have to hold to shut it off and turn it back on which is another negative because it takes forever for this thing to turn off and on.

Great responsiveness from the thumb sticks when setting dead zone to 0%(Stock is 5%). Buttons feel nice and clickly.. Controls and menus take some time getting used to but are a breeze after a few days. Connectivity is clumsy but only when pairing the controller to the dongle. Otherwise, when its connected its a firm connection via wireless. Controller is light, way lighter than the Elite Series 2. Still has a premium feel to it. I prefer this controller over the Elite Series 2..have both and used them long term. This controller feel really responsive and I enjoy using it for shooters like Apex Legends. Worth $200? I would say yes, its a great controller.

I've been looking for a replacement for the xbox elite controller, and this really does the job. The buttons, triggers, and bumpers really have a great sturdy feeling to them. Feels like it will hold up really well and going it will last a while. The screen on the front is really nice and convenient and the lights look great. The case has a nice soft velvet interior and the charging dock has a strong magnet. It really feels high quality.

I have had 3 Elite Controllers from Xbox, and they all go bad on either the DPAD or the LB/RB buttons. This controller seriously blows it out of the way, I love love love this controller. The LEDS make it awesome and tons of color options and patterns, IT IS SO LIGHTWEIGHT ITS INSANE, the battery llife is great, the buttons are mechanical so they dont jam up and i feel they will last a longtime, I just love it all the way. The paddles on the back take a little getting used to compared to the Elite, but once the learning curve is gone you are golden. BUY this controller!!

I was using an Elite series 2 controller before I decided to take a shot with this one and I'm so happy I did. This controller is amazing. It's lighter than most controllers I've used and that's something I really like. The amount of customization for the lighting, sounds, and button mapping is great. The response times are flawless and I've had no issues with connectivity. Plus being able to connect the controller via Bluetooth and get my notifications from my phone on the controller is pretty neat. Definitely worth the money if you're looking for something a little different than your normal controller.

Very good for shooting games. A little wider than I'm used to with the stock Xbox Series X controller. Took a couple weeks to adjust to the new grip. The battery life is very good, I like not having to fumble for the charge cable or fresh battery as it just lasts all session. I love the ability to adjust the EQ to adapt to different headsets I have. I will admit it is strictly for shooters in my opinion, it didn't handle fighters well. The responsiveness is good and the controller can keep up with my twitch reaction. Great controller.

This is so close but so far from being the perfect controller. I'll start with the pros. 1: Fully customizable with the screen thats right on the controller. -this is the fastest controller for changing audio settings between rounds, and mapping custom buttons doesn't require an external app. Massive plus there. 2: The buttons feel SO good. It's like a mechanical keyboard but an Xbox controller. -Clicky, fast, responsive and accurate. Probably the best. 3: Headphone/Microhpone combo jack right on the controller. I use a Podmic USB and I monitor it with Bose Quietcomfort. The same equipment I use for my work. I can run it with a simple splitter cable and have utter clarity for the highest fidelity experience with what I already own. LOVE this, and it's a very underrated feature. It's got all the stuff pro controllers should have. Profiles, custom button mapping, clicky and tactile. Adjustable triggers. If it didn't have these cons it would be perfect. CONS: 1: MASSIVE con. The back paddle broke after only a couple weeks. This is a dealbreaker for me. The Mechanical keyboard vibe is 10/10. But the back paddles are also like keyboard switches. AND THEY ARE FLIMSY. They click nicely and feel good! They're customizeable. And mine completely broke shortly after purchase. No deal. 2: Bluetooth Dongle Latency. Another Dealbreaker. The dedicated bluetooth dongle is great. When it works. It gives out, only for about 1 second at a time. Every 10 minutes. And this is a pro controller for pro enviornments. 1 second is too many seconds. Consistently? A deal breaker. Why not just use it hard wired? The hard wired works flawlessly and has even faster response rate somehow. Theres never any drops and you don't have to worry about charging. But it creates an AWFUL buzz in my headphones when I plug in my headphones! Another Deal breaker. That means either one way or another I'm making a compromise on a $200 controller, and i can't fix either one without an external audio signal cleaner. Noooo way. Deal breaker. 3: Sticky B Button. This might have been a fluke! But I really had to MASH on my B button to make it work. Thats fine, I'll map it to a back paddle... that breaks. No deal. Maybe that was a fluke. Maybe all three were a fluke! But each one is a deal breaker and ALL three happened with mine. Therefore... No Deal. Sad to report, but you'll want to steer clear of this controller unless you already have a dedicated headset and don't mind using it wired and never use back paddles. Even then..... Why would you get this controller in that case?

I bought this without triple checking that the base must be connected for the wireless function to work. While it does support Bluetooth connectivity, it is largely wasted on a useless companion mobile app. It is a little smaller than an Xbox controller so it may take a bit to get used to. But despite all of that, the features of thus controller more than compensate for the things I wish it had. The built in display is helpful, allows you to see battery life, manage the volume if you have a headset plugged into it (and change equalixer modes). The other feature I liked quite a bit was the ability to switch between stored profiles.

I have used just about every brand of Xbox compatible controller on the market. Xbox Elite Series 2, Scuff, and you know the list goes on. FINALLY! A controller with Hall Effect sticks(No More Stick Drift), clicky A B X Y Right and Left bumper DPad and dont forget aboutthe 4 back buttons. The fact that it comes with HE sticks is enough to put it above 99% of XBox compatible controllers on the market today. Not to mention its wireless. You can adjust EVERYTHING that needs adjusting ON THE CONTROLLER! Well worth the cost. 5 STARS!!

It’s a great device for gaming. But honestly after awhile it does tend to have connectivity issues. I suggest getting the warranty. Because depending on your luck, you may have to replace it soon after purchase. But when it’s working correctly it’s an absolute beast of a controller.
