Even when plugging it in it still wouldn't reconnect. Battery life was pretty bad as well, only going about 3 hours before the batteries were dead. Avoid this one, looks cool but build quality is terrible.

The other quit working at 4 months. Very disappointed considering the price you paid and the warranty doesn’t help if you have to pay every time it breaks. Turtle Beach needs to recall these. They are trash!

Most useless 200 dollar controller

Controlller is awesome but….

Please make sure your Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra firmware is up to date using the Control Center 2 application, there was a new release that added the ability to map L3 and R3 to the rear paddles, as well as other newer releases with bug and stability fixes.

The controller dosent feel smooth even when using 0% deadzone. Definitely wouldnt buy again if my first one broke. It has randomly discounted before and the whole process for the controller seems unnecessary.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used both of the Xbox Elite controllers, and they both have broken in the expected ways, the first with stick drift, then the second with failing bumpers. I’m excited to see if this new Turtle Beach controller is the answer to those quality issues. Everything I have ever bought from Turtle Beach has been extremely reliable and durable, so I’m assuming this controller will not disappoint. There is a bit of an adjustment when changing to this controller, the way I need to hold it is slightly different, which led to some hand discomfort in the first couple of days, but now it feels like home. Now that I’m used to the (very) slightly different shape, I can say this controller is precise, tough and very responsive for gaming. The bumpers have a large travel, but the micros engage almost at the top of the travel, so very nice there, good for fast movements, the triggers are shorter throw than the ones on my Elite 2, but they have a more linear actuation which I very much prefer for driving games, throttle and brake control are how you go fast and the better controller you have, the faster your lap times! So, this is an excellent controller, working perfectly on my Xbox Series X and my gaming PC. I was able to pair it to my iPhone 12, and via the software I got notifications on the controller that there was – something – on my phone, but no details. I think it is the way I have my phone set up, because on the Android, it worked perfectly. I have to say I don’t know why I would need to see my phone notifications on my controller, but younger folks are much more connected than I am, so this may be a great feature, just not for me. Customization controls directly on the controller accessible through the screen is really nice too, making on the fly adjustments while in the middle of a game is something I never thought I missed until I got this controller, now I think I’ll be using it frequently. Being able to have so much fine control over the setup of the controller is also clutch, the Hall-effect sticks should never drift (should), and they give you the ability to adjust the sensitivity curves on both sticks. The button customization is great, and it’s nice to have triggers on the back side, but as of right now I can find no way to map a button on the controller to a PC key, say, to make it a PTT button on my controller when open mics are not appropriate. Battery life is good, not stunning, I got 8.5 hours on it while using the headset jack, connected to the phone and computer, and running the RGB at full brightness. I do not play with all of that going on, so I think the battery is more than enough for my needs and most everyone else’s. Beyond the small complaints, I think this one is a winner, I’m going to be my main controller for a while to come. Yes, I would recommend it!
