I replaced this controller twice both times this controller had the same issues with the analog sticks and the dpad. Also at random times the controller would instantly die and then it have issues turning back on. I played several games where the left analog stick would not do a full rotation and allow me to select things on a game wheel. This product is so bad they are going around deleting reviews and blocking people. I was blocked on Facebook for posting videos of the controller not working. This company is garbage and hiding their failure.

The Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra has had a new firmware release, v.1.0.4, the following changes and features have been implemented: • Fixed a bug where the controller would remain in charge state and require a hard reset. • Fixed a bug where the controller would power down if thumbsticks moved together rapidly. • Added LSB (L3) and RSB (R3) functions to the button mapping section of the Command Display screen. • Updated charging behavior on the dock, now the screen will power down during a charge. The charge LEDs will power down when product is fully charged. Pressing a button will show you temporary charging stats. • Updated the charge status LED brightness so that it is independent from the general LED brightness options. Please download the Control Center 2 application on PC or Xbox to update your Stealth Ultra to the latest firmware. If you have previously downloaded it, simply connect your device to your computer or Xbox and run the application. After, if you still require assistance, please reach out directly to our dedicated Support Team. The right bumper button was stuck in you cant press it. It also did not want to update the firmware. It kept on failing. Not a good experience for a premium $200 controller. The sticks felt nice though, but I've read they grind down the plastic withing a few weeks as well.

Tried every way possibke and it wont connect. Wont eve reguster when i use the cord plugged directly into the console. Was going to exchange for another but the longer i think about it im just foing to get my $ back. DON’T BUY THIS, youll regret it as i do.

Waste of money

Could have been great, but a giant miss.

Randomly I have to recalibrate the sticks as well or they go haywire. Software is pretty buggy however least the onboard screen works well. Left friction ring has completely scared the left stick in no time, painted plastic on painted plastic is a big no. Dpad has issues engaging but its rare. I suspect perhaps my sticks are just a QC issue however, I might exchange in hopes that is the case.

Total garbage steer clear

It was billed as a premium xbox controller. I originally ordered 3 one for me one for my son and one for my nephew. When they came in I immediately went to set mine up only to find its Bluetooth would not stay connected to my phone. So i though ik maybe a firmware update is available. So i connected it to th xbox downloaded the app uodated firmware only to find that it still wouldnt stay connected to my phone for the messages. Xbox app and android app were both up to date. So onto the controller itself. It feels extremely cheap in your hand. Very plasticy and light. After a ton of app to controller issues (the app on xbox looks like its from 2002) i decided to return all of them.

Had to spend $30 to order a replacement from turtle beach. Good controller though.

But personally, there's a little delay when switching on your console from the controller because it's third party. I'm sticking to official licensed controllers from now on.

I purchased for the hall effect joy sticks which was great. May work too well for some people. Buttons are like clicking a mouse on a computer. Responsive most of the time. Battery drains very fast and does not have the time it says it would have.
