The Apple Watch is a really cool concept, however I didn't feel like it was worth the $600 so I ended up returning it. There is so much more it could do, and be a little faster at loading apps. Hopefully the second edition will be a lot better!

I returned this and got the sport version. 1/2 the price and lighter on my wrist. This watch is nice, but I didn't feel it was worth almost double the price. No complaints about functionality.

The Apple Watch is more a toy that a productivity tool. It also saves messages and other files and does not sync well with the phone to clean these up. You have to clean them manually. Battery life is very bad. Usually less than a day.

If your hoping that the watch will do just about everything your phone does you'll be disappointed. You can open some of your apps from your phone to your watch but it's limited access. Most of your apps will not work with the Apple Watch. When you are receiving a call about half the time when you press the answer button, it doesn't pick up the calls. The activity app is not that accurate. So if your wanting a watch to play around with, this is your watch. Other then a couple of neat features. It's not that much better then the watches that came out in the mid 90's.

Disappointed in the iWatch. Face is cluttered with icons, band is difficult to put on (risk dropping the watch), and battery life is too short. Other watches over more and are cheaper.

    Apple Watch First Time Buyer

Recently, the purchase of my Apple Watch from Best Buy was pleasant and easy. Specifically, this is the mid-range Apple watch, with the Milanese loop band. I purchased the upgraded edition because I’m a tech enthusiast, and Apple fan boy. More so, I research my products quite a bit before I purchase them, and I replace my technology products with the latest and greatest every year or two. Best Buy makes the claim, “Apple Watch is an incredibly customizable timepiece, has entirely new ways to stay in touch, and is a comprehensive health and fitness companion,” which is an agreeable statement, after using the product for the past month. First, right out of the box, the Apple watch is a magnificent timepiece . The Milanese loop and stainless steel finish have a great shine. After opening the box and admiring the watch , the watch connected to my iPhone and set up couldn’t have been easier, because there is a step-by-step tutorial displayed on the screen. While set up was easy, personalizing the watch took about an hour. This ensures the device is mended to every users liking. Next, after weeks of using the product, all of the reviews and newscasts raving about the watch began to make sense. The features and apps that work seamlessly with your phone, which allows the user to fully utilize the iPhone. Some examples include the messaging app, fitness companion app, and weather app. The message app is great, because the user will get a brief preview of any message on their watch. This is nice in important situations in which using a phone would be inappropriate, such as a lecture or meeting. Next, the fitness companion app is great because the watch tracks the user’s workout progress, and presented on an easy to read graph on the iPhone. Lastly, the weather app is useful because the watch takes the current location, and gives a seven-day forecast on the screen, The complete package of applications fully supports me as technology enthusiast. In the scheme of things, the Apple watch is a great compliment to any iPhone at a fair price. The upgraded edition ($699), substantially more expensive than the base model, but there’s an Apple watch that fits every tech user’s budget ($349 - $10,000). All-in-all, this product comes highly recommended from a dedicated Apple user.

I purchased the Apple Stainless Steel 42 mm watch. It was an open box item. When I arrived home and opened the box to set it up, I found it to be dirty. The band was obviously worn for a long period of time before returning it. I brought the watch back to get my money back because I did not want something that was not taken care of by the watch before returning it. I believe the Geek Squad should do a better job of examining items that are returned.

It's just really useful. I love the Runtastic app, where I don't even need to access my iPhone to to start going for a run, it's all recorded on the Apple Watch and syncs with the iPhone Runtastic app as you go. I really enjoy not checking my iPhone throughout the day for time, date, to start a timer, or to check the weather, since it's all on the watch. Wristband pedometers are never accurate, especially for those who do a lot of arm movement at their job. With Pedometer+ app I can see my steps either on my screen or by looking at it through glances (where you swipe up to see certain information) which aren't calculated using the Apple Watch but rather your iPhone and it syncs to your Apple Watch. The heart rate monitor is really accurate, no issues there. It's definitely a strong, well built device. And while it may not be swim proof, it's definitely water resistant. I also REALLY enjoy being able to read and respond to incoming texts through the Apple Watch, and even answer or make phone calls. When I'm at work and I feel a text message buzzing in my pocket, but can't pick it up at that moment, I can just tap my Apple Watch and read the message there. The only downfall with the Apple Watch is that they don't have an accurate sleep tracker app for it, which is HUGELY disappointing for such an advanced piece of device and for the price of it. This is the only reason why I am giving this four stars. Being able to accurately keep track of your sleep with your wristband/watch has become essential and just a fundamental when you reach a certain price range. Fortunately, the Apple Watch has PLENTY of other uses, and I can just use my iPhone to track my sleep. Still though, it would be much nicer to have my Apple Watch track my sleep versus sleeping in my bed with my phone. Even so, definitely recommend to anyone considered buying this for themselves or someone else. Apple Watch 2 isn't rumored to be coming out until September 2016, and you can just trade your current Apple Watch when it does come out, or just let a friend or family member have it. This is a product worth supporting and I'm looking forward to what comes next.
