Expensive Bauble
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At 3 months a growing black spot started by 6 months watch became glitchy. By 9 months returned to Apple. They sent me back my old model instead of the new and improved model. This is my last Apple Watch unless the come with a "happy ending"!

Yet another excellent product from apple
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yet another excellent product from apple. The quality is of the highest standard and the software is great for being Version 1.0.1. the vibration (taptic feedback) is awesome! This is stainless steel and stainless steel scratches easily just like any other stainless steel watch. I would recommend a case and screen protector if you are bothered by this.

Perfect Smartwatch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to buy this with the discount. It is a fantastic combo of style and utility. The stainless steel and sapphire screen also make it more resistant to damage than the Sport model.

A great companion to the iPhone, and to me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 8 Months of being an Apple Watch Owner… Yes, I was one of those that despised the Apple Watch. My wife purchased it a couple of months after it came out. Within 2 weeks she stopped wearing it consistently. On a Saturday afternoon she was a couple of hours from returning it. Her main gripe was the slowness and battery life. But something happened. After WatchOS 2 update, she started to love it. As for me, I still didn’t see a purpose for it. Heck I can just use my iPhone 6s for most of the functions an Apple Watch can do. A waste of money I thought. Boy was I wrong. When I stopped listening to all the Internet critics, when I stopped reading BOTH the positive and negative comments about the Apple Watch, and just focused on what it can (and can’t) do for me, I got a better appreciation of what Apple has done. Pretty much everything can be looked with a quick glance for email, text messages, news updates, weather, and of course time. No need to fumble around in my pocket to pull out my iPhone to view emails, messages, and phone calls,, my watch can do it all. Best of all my two year old daughter doesn't like it, but she loves my iPhone. So when we’re out, instead of pulling out my iPhone to see what someone wants, the iPhone stays in my pocket when my daughter can't bother it! And with Watch OS3 coming this Fall, it's going to solve one of its major achilles heel, slowness. Most third party apps load very slow, and some of them such as the ESPN app I just gave up on. For the most part Dark Sky, used for weather, is pretty good, as well as the CBS Sports app when it comes to loading but they too can take over 30 seconds to load. Most native apps though like mail, messages, and others work pretty quick. So with watchOS3 coming making the Apple Watch faster, as well as a host of other improvements (more watch faces, the ability to log into a MacBook by just openings it, and other interesting additions) it's going to make the watch much more enjoyable and useful. The small built in widgets are somewhat useful. When I misplaced my iPhone, I was able to located it pretty quickly! Once the watch is out of range, you will see a small red phone icon at the to of the watch which indicates the watch is out of range with the iPhone it's paired with. The others widgets are nice, but I don't use them all that much. I do have to admit, I have not looked at the health apps that came with the watch. My wife says her Fitbit is better maintaining steps and other aerobic readings. Same with the music app. And as for maps, it's way too small for me to see what is on the screen. Battery life, to me, is good. By the time I go to bed it's about 65-70% charge still left (and that's with consistent use). Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking to make their life a little more convenient.

Super Fast!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Just bought this product today! And I'm already learning new things and it's very easy to use! Although this is a companion device with the IPhone! You have to buy he iPhone and the watch, it can't be separate unfortunately... But exercise is very reliable and it's a good buy! I hope you find this review interesting!

I Use it Daily
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, this serves well as a watch. That may be a strange way to begin a review of such a technological wonder, but as a watch, it is stylish and highly functional. A raise of the arm and the screen image appears, and is easily visible in sunlight. Now, given that, the Apple watch has not become an indespensible part of my life yet, but I can see that happening as the technology and features improve. While you can read the features in the watch description, I have found it quite useful as a phone. When I cannot get to my iPhone, I simply answer and talk with my watch. The callers have commented that they cannot tell the difference between my voice quality on the watch or phone. You hear the caller over the watch's speaker and it all works quite well. I also like the vibration of the watch when I have alarms, notices, or calls. That works well in a noisy environment. I like Apple's first effort at the iWatch and see it going no where but up. Hopefully that camera is coming with the next iWatch generation.

A awesome device for your wrist...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch + a black or white sports band is a great choice. Some of my favorite Apps amongst others include: Apple Remote Control: A remote control for all your AppleTVs on your wrist and ready to go. Apple Pay: Double tab the button and pass your watch near the card reader and Beep, you have paid. Messages: Use SIRI to communicate Star Trek style. iPhone-Camera-Remote-Control: Everyone can be in the picture now as your watch will remotely take the picture. Just position the camera.

Watch is great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first order the Apple Watch Stainless Steel with the black sport band to keep the cost down while still getting the Watch. I recently upgraded with the addition of the Milanese Loop and this makes the watch look so beautiful and it's cooler than the elastomer sport band.

Classy, cool watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved my Moto 360, but functionally it was extremely limited on iOS. Naturally, I looked at the Apple Watch as a replacement. I initially purchased the sports model, but exchanged it for the stainless steel model due to the more upscale look of the SS. Aesthetically, the watch is beautiful and the stainless steel casing really stands out. The sports band looks alright, but feels nice against the skin. I would recommend upgrading to a leather or stainless steel band to really make the watch stand out from the crowd. They have really affordable, 3rd party options online and in stores. If you have experience with smartwatches, the Apple Watch won't be a totally foreign experience. Essentially, the major interactions are: receiving notifications, fitness tracking capabilities, accessing and using apps on a basic level, controling music, reading and responding (through pre written messages or voice) to emails and text messages, and reading the time, date, weather, calendar and other vital info. It's important to remember that all smartwatches at this point are complimentary devices, not standalone devices or mini smartphones. If you expect more, you'll probably be disappointed with the Apple Watch. But if see it for what it is, you'll love it, like me, and look forward to wearing it every day.

Awesome technology
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've heard lots of mixed reviews about the Apple Watch, but I absolutely love the features it offers. Being able to quickly glance down at my wrist for quick information saves me time from digging into my pocket for my phone when I get notifications. Apple products make my life easier!

Excellent wearable tech
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the longest time, I refused to get an apple watch. I could not justify the high cost for what I was getting. It took an awesome deal on Best Buy for me to try it out and I am glad that I did. First off, between the holiday specials that were running, open box deals, and best buy cash, I got mine for almost $200 off. Amazing deal. Second, this thing has replaced my activity tracker 100% (another $100 value). It literally is an extension of your phone and I am amazed at the new things I discover about it every day. My only con at this time is that I wish the battery life was longer so I could wear it as a sleep tracker too. There are apps available but I would then have to charge it sometime in the middle of the day which is not practical. Also, the start up time can take awhile. At first I thought there was something wrong with the watch as it was "stuck" on the apple logo. The watch can take up to a minute and a half to start. Keep that in mind.

Cool Gadget
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is lacking the basics. I really hate that this watch does not have an independent GPS. To track your running routes you must have your phone with you. As an iPhone 6 Plus owner I have been looking forward to running with out my bulky phone. I'm a big apple fanatic but I honestly don't do anything with this watch that I don't or can't do with my Fitbit. The Fitbit is much lighter and has a better battery and it's also more conducive for sleep monitoring. However everyone that I come across is impressed with my Apple Watch, which is great for some people if they care about bragging rights. This watch was a gift so therefore I have no complaints other than the major dollars I have spent on cosmetics (cases, screen protectors and bands). Up until I received the watch I have wanted one since they were released, but I was holding out for the second generation which I was hoping would include an independent GPS and a longer battery life. The watch itself is a cool toy for me. It is definitely a want but but not a must have. I can't rationalize why would cheaper smart watches and fitness watches have an internal GPS and Apple don't. If you are in to technology this could possibly be the watch for you but be warned. You may get bored fast. There is also a few cool features on the watch that you can only use with other people who have an Apple Watch. Needless to say I don't know anyone else who have one. Being that my watch was purchased at Best Buy I feel that it was purchased at an awsome price compared to other venders. Overall the watch does what it's suppose to do and what Apple promised it would do. The quality of the stainless steel is great and the sapphire screen seems to be great. I love how the bands contour to my arm for a custom fit.

Amplifies unparalleled, head of class UX of iPhone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been wearing my Apple Watch SS daily since April of this year. I absolutely love mine and highly recommend said watch to anyone who loves their iPhone. Apple Watch amplifies the unparalleled, head of class user experience of your iPhone. In short, it makes your iPhone better. It's also important to think of how useful Apple Watch will become, as a sense of presence and authentication, once there are more objects to interact with in the real world.

Great Watch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had actually purchased the Watch from Preorder from Apple's website, and when I got it, it was a lot better than I expected. The watch band doesn't pinch your skin (as I thought it would#, but it is actually fully customizable with the size of your wrist. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested #coming from an employee of BestBuy.

Terrible product in reality. So disappointed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned pretty much every smart watch since the beginning. All the Samsungs, many of the Android Wears, the Pebbles and my current favorite, the Microsoft Band. Finally got an iPhone (long story why switched platforms). Have to say am enjoying the IPhone. So thought right thing to do was get Apple Watch. Omg. What a piece of garbage. First, synching and setting up is anything but smooth. Tried with two different model types, but same slow experience. Then, in terms of operation, it stinks. Most apps show splash screens and then say look to phone to operate. I don't need a watch if I have to use my phone screen anyway. Finally, the speed of this is awful. It is SLOOOOWWWWWW. Most apps take forever to open, and when they do, they then work slowly, too. I cannot believe that this is the product Apple brought out after years of being able to see competitors in market. The Band, the Samsung (current model, before new one hits) and the Moto 360 blow this out of the water. I'm either going to stick with my Band (which is great) or go with the new Moto 360 when it comes out (which was just announced to work with IPhone). But both models of the Apple Watch are going back to Best Buy after one day of use. Sad that this is result.

Great gift for Apple fanatic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was purchased as a holiday gift for my Apple fanatic adult son. Without knowing much other than having read reviews on the product on this site and others, I ordered this from BestBuy. My son seems more than happy with this device, but does say that it is perhaps still in an early stage in terms of useful software apps for the device. That said, he indicated he especially enjoys the health related apps that use a sensor embedded in the watch for heartbeat count, etc. and that the watch has reduced his touch time with his iPhone considerably. Finally, he says it has a great look to it that gets many favorable comments from others. A bit pricey for electronic gizmos, unless one remembers what a plain old timepiece watch cost not too long ago.
