Clean, refind, 100% Apple! After owning the Galaxy Gear 2 and the Gear S I did not have any trouble getting use to this watch. Small learning curve due to getting use to Force Touch display. Some thing as easy as changing the face is not in the menu but a hard press to the home screen for example. Clear sharp display, not washed or over powering colors. Great contrast for small fonts. What I like: 1. It is smaller than the Gear S. 2. Feels like a true classic watch on your arm. 3. Very refined software and connectivity. 4. Fast growing application market. 5. Hardware security on device. 6. Magnetic charger connection. 7. Great display contrast and color of menu. 8. Crown Does make it easier to navigate. What I think is missing: 1. Camera 2. Simple play back option of music and video displayed on watch, wants to use the phone as the play back device. 3. Customization. 4. Stand alone features. Over all, I love it! Great device for work or play!

Ok I love this watch simply because it's an Apple product. However it's really not very easy to use and because it seems difficult I haven't even spent much time trying to figure it out. If I had a trial version of it I wouldn't have bought it.

I held myself back when the Apple Watch first launched and decided to buy it last week (I have had it for a week and one day). First, purchasing was a breeze even though I drove two hours to the nearest in-stock Best Buy and their display wasn't ready yet. I love the mileanse loop. It is extremely easy to adjust to any length and the magnet is super strong, plus the band looks ultra-professional for work. My only complaint is the clasp gets scratched extremely easily (I don't know how it happens as I work at a desk all day but the clasp is scratched all over). The watch itself is great. I previously owned a Pebble smartwatch which was great as well but this was a terrific step-up. Siri works her magic as always, battery has lasted well over 24 hours with normal to above-normal use. My only suggestion is to get a clear case because the stainless will scratch easily (again, this scratched in the first two days of owning it while I was being extremely careful and before my case arrived in the mail, and I honestly don't know what caused the scratch). I am very particular about how my devices look so the scratching is a down-side but after getting a clear case it isn't noticeable. Avoid screen protectors too, they don't fit properly with the curved screen and you will want to cover the case before the screen with how easily it scratches. Anyways, great product and I couldn't be happier with it.

    Turned into a believer...

I was definitely of the opinion that the Apple Watch was a waste of time when it was first announced. I thought there was NO way I'd be getting one. I like wearing watches ($300-$800 range) and wear one everyday to work where we have a business casual dress code. I have a decent collection of watches already and couldn't imagine just not wearing them anymore in favor of a smartwatch, since it'd have to be worn everyday to be worth having. And certainly didn't want that nerdy tech geek look that wearing a smartwatch would bring. One day I actually played around with an Apple Watch in an Apple Store for the first time. Lo and behold I actually liked it! I decided to purchase one from my local BB with the intent to return it within the return window because I was SURE I'd get over that initial new buy feeling soon and would realize it just wasn't necessary. To my surprise I actually found the watch useful! It was like wearing one of my daily watches, but with more functionality. No more trying to reach into my pocket for my phone while driving to read a text message, or not even feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket when receiving a new message. With the watch vibrating for every new message I couldn't miss anything. The Activity app is very undervalued. It's quite nice that my daily movements are tracked and calories burned shown. It actually gives me the desire to want to do more physical activity to reach the daily goal. I picked the Milanese Loop model because I thought it looked classier and would go better with what I wear to work everyday. I was right and am not disappointed. I've received a few compliments so far on how nice it looked. Definitely glad I made the purchase. It's certainly not for everyone, especially if you're the type who doesn't wear a watch regularly. For me its perfect and I like it a lot!

Purchased the 42mm stainless/white sport band for myself for Christmas. I really was torn between the lighter/smaller sport 38mm version and the larger one as I am a tiny female with a very small wrist and wasn't sure I was going to be happy with the purchase of the larger and slightly more heavier watch. I have no regrets now! Yes it is a big watch on my wrist but I love that it is easier to touch and navigate and see what you are doing on the watch. Love that Best Buy had the stainless version on sale!! I have been playing with this watch since I opened it on Christmas and don't want to put it down. Yes it a pricey watch but well worth it for all that it does. Yes, it is awesome,

Best Buy did not clear the device so unusable

Best Buy sold me an "open box" product which proved to be unusable because Best Buy did not wipe the device after the original person had it. Best Buy sent a return label and a second "open box" product that had the same issue. After hours of time spent on phone, in-store (which should have never been recommended by Best Buy customer service), email correspondence and other inconvenience, I still do not have the product I set out to get.

I waited much longer than I usually would for a piece of technology that I lusted after. I really wanted to see some reviews and talk with people who owned the Apple Watch first. Even then, I wondered how much I'd need or use the features it provides. Finally, I jumped on the stainless steel version with a sports band from Best Buy, my favorite "toy" store and have no regrets.

Apple has perfected yet another product. The overall design of this product is perfect for everyday use. The battery lasts more than what Apple promised. It pairs well with my iPhone and has an excellent Bluetooth connection.

At 3 months a growing black spot started by 6 months watch became glitchy. By 9 months returned to Apple. They sent me back my old model instead of the new and improved model. This is my last Apple Watch unless the come with a "happy ending"!

Yet another excellent product from apple. The quality is of the highest standard and the software is great for being Version 1.0.1. the vibration (taptic feedback) is awesome! This is stainless steel and stainless steel scratches easily just like any other stainless steel watch. I would recommend a case and screen protector if you are bothered by this.

I was able to buy this with the discount. It is a fantastic combo of style and utility. The stainless steel and sapphire screen also make it more resistant to damage than the Sport model.

A great companion to the iPhone, and to me

After 8 Months of being an Apple Watch Owner… Yes, I was one of those that despised the Apple Watch. My wife purchased it a couple of months after it came out. Within 2 weeks she stopped wearing it consistently. On a Saturday afternoon she was a couple of hours from returning it. Her main gripe was the slowness and battery life. But something happened. After WatchOS 2 update, she started to love it. As for me, I still didn’t see a purpose for it. Heck I can just use my iPhone 6s for most of the functions an Apple Watch can do. A waste of money I thought. Boy was I wrong. When I stopped listening to all the Internet critics, when I stopped reading BOTH the positive and negative comments about the Apple Watch, and just focused on what it can (and can’t) do for me, I got a better appreciation of what Apple has done. Pretty much everything can be looked with a quick glance for email, text messages, news updates, weather, and of course time. No need to fumble around in my pocket to pull out my iPhone to view emails, messages, and phone calls,, my watch can do it all. Best of all my two year old daughter doesn't like it, but she loves my iPhone. So when we’re out, instead of pulling out my iPhone to see what someone wants, the iPhone stays in my pocket when my daughter can't bother it! And with Watch OS3 coming this Fall, it's going to solve one of its major achilles heel, slowness. Most third party apps load very slow, and some of them such as the ESPN app I just gave up on. For the most part Dark Sky, used for weather, is pretty good, as well as the CBS Sports app when it comes to loading but they too can take over 30 seconds to load. Most native apps though like mail, messages, and others work pretty quick. So with watchOS3 coming making the Apple Watch faster, as well as a host of other improvements (more watch faces, the ability to log into a MacBook by just openings it, and other interesting additions) it's going to make the watch much more enjoyable and useful. The small built in widgets are somewhat useful. When I misplaced my iPhone, I was able to located it pretty quickly! Once the watch is out of range, you will see a small red phone icon at the to of the watch which indicates the watch is out of range with the iPhone it's paired with. The others widgets are nice, but I don't use them all that much. I do have to admit, I have not looked at the health apps that came with the watch. My wife says her Fitbit is better maintaining steps and other aerobic readings. Same with the music app. And as for maps, it's way too small for me to see what is on the screen. Battery life, to me, is good. By the time I go to bed it's about 65-70% charge still left (and that's with consistent use). Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking to make their life a little more convenient.

I Just bought this product today! And I'm already learning new things and it's very easy to use! Although this is a companion device with the IPhone! You have to buy he iPhone and the watch, it can't be separate unfortunately... But exercise is very reliable and it's a good buy! I hope you find this review interesting!
