I love the Apple Watch in regards to everything it's capable of and all the awesome features. Great fitness tracking abilities and it's awesome to be able to view texts/emails/phone calls without having to have my phone out. The only downfall I can tell thus far, is the poor battery life. I do not have any extra apps running or connected to my watch, yet at the end of a 12 hour shift, I have little to no charge left, definitely not enough to get me through a full workout at the gym. I was told mine was probably just a "dud" so it was replaced and still having the same issue. If anyone has any insight on how to prolong battery life, that would be helpful!

I love the rose gold with lavender band. I have received many compliments and 38mm is the perfect size for a woman! I like the fact that I can wear this apple watch while working and see messages, emails and phone calls without having to retrieve my Iphone or disturb anyone else.

If you have a iPhone this is the must have watch to own. It makes staying connected easy when you don't want to pull out your phone. I never miss any messages or notifications now when my phone is in my purse. The fitness tracking application is nice and it keeps me motivated. I just wish I could swim with the watch. With all the color and band options this is an accessory that you can match to your jewelry or outfits.

The watch is incredible. It is very functional and easy to set up. I use it frequently for ALL of the following: check email, get alerts, texts, specific stocks, weather, heart rate and the camera control. Best of all, I use it everyday - and love it - for tracking my various exercises (miles, calories, distance, steps, heart rate, speed, etc.). I have used the watch to answer the phone and the sound quality is very good but I prefer my iPhone. You cannot reply with a specific text but there are standard ones offered that do the job. The battery needs charging every night but I would take it off anyway so it's not a big deal. For the price, this is a steal. Best Buy gave me $50 refund because it went on sale shortly after I bought it.

I spent a long time deciding what to buy. My minimum requirement for a wrist piece was a good activity tracker that offered a few more features than just tracking steps. The rose gold Apple watch with lavender band definitely caught my eye, so I kept coming back to it. I eventually decided that if I was going to spend the money I should go ahead with the Apple watch. I'm very glad that I did. The activity tracker is very helpful for daily activity. I really like that it 'taps' you with a reminder to stand up if you've been sitting too long, cause you know- desk job. It gives you little encouraging messages as you get closer to move goals and when you meet them. Other features- Being able to make phone calls and read/send text messages is awesome. Pretty good volume on calls; I haven't changed some of the default text answers yet, but I'd like to because there isn't much variety to match what I would say. The only negative is that it does have trouble picking up words with speak to text- maybe background noise, or it's a slow feature... I usually grab my phone for long messages anyway. Check out the astronomy watch face- this is really neat. At this point I'm still messing around with the other apps and deciding what I like to use. Battery life does go down about 50% after a day's use, but I'm not stressed about that- I just place it on the pretty cool magnetic charger at night. It does seem to be a little slow to turn on if it's been off. Overall it's a great purchase that I'm happy with. If you are debating, keep in mind it's something you have to commit to and are willing to learn how to use. It is a worthwhile purchase if it's beneficial to your lifestyle. It will also help if the Best Buy rep guides you through some of the features- as soon as I walked up to the table the guy that helped me got sample watches for me to try on and showed me what an Apple watch could do.

First thing I want to say, I was completely against this watch. Thought it was a waste of money and I consider myself an Apple-phile. I saw this watch on a co-worker and I thought it was a good looking watch. So I did some research and shopped around but I wasn't going to pay that much for a novelty item. I saw this watch on sale for a lot less a month ago and decided to buy it. I am very happy I got it. Looks great and it's more useful than I thought. Only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the battery life isn't great. You definitely need an extra charger for the car/office.

As an Apple Enthusiast I knew i wanted the watch when it first came out, but of course price was the first reason I waited so long to get it. I was sure it would drop in price after a new version and style came out. I was a bit hesitant to buy it because my co-worker complained about the speaker and battery. and so I was hoping Apple would eventually make another with both concerns updated or just better. But like everything else, if you wait for the latest tech device another will eventually come out and you'll prob never own anything. Its funny to me when i hear people say they will wait till the next newest best thing comes out. There will always be something better, we will never catch up with technology since it always seems to get better. which is a good thing. So I decided to just ahead and purchase it. I needed a watch, It had dropped down in price and it was Apple! So now that I have it I'm glad I got it. As far as the speaker issue it is what it is. its obviously not the same as using your speaker on your cell phone but sound is still good considering it being a watch. I feel like if anything it can be used for emergencies or when your phone is out of reach, which by the way has great distance connection. The battery I can agree that kinda sucks and has to be charged every night. It prob lasts a day and a half if not charged, besides that, its great. I find myself using it discreetly at work versus looking at my phone for text messages and can also reply on it as well. It might seem overwhelming at first like you prob wont understand it like myself but its pretty simple and can mirror your phone. If you need a watch and love apple, the apple watch is the way to go.

I was considering buying a Fitbit or similar watch to track my activity but decided to splurge on the Apple Watch. I think the activity tracking is great even though it's not tracking sleep patterns (not sure what I would do with that info anyway). My favorite thing about the watch is that I no longer miss texts or calls since it alerts me. The Apple Pay through the watch is pretty awesome too. No more fumbling through my purse to find my phone or my wallet. Glad I made the purchase.

I love it!! It streamlines your messages & phone calls to your wrist and allows for that ease of leaving your phone in another room. Timesaver in both my personal life and work life. And if you love to workout this will make it so much easier to keep up with stats and updates to your phone after the workout. I would recommend this for busy people that don't have time to waste looking at their phone all day, or athletes to help keep track of training sessions.

Great alternative to a fitness tracker and provides many additional features. Impeccable Apple quality and a much wider range of functions than initially anticipated make this watch much more than just a toy. Whether used for a mix of business and personal use, or strictly for fun, acceptance of the fact that it is not highly autonomous from the iPhone will help expectations meet reality. With still a lot of room to expand features and function, there is still plenty that makes it a handy tool. Notifications, navigation, activity tracking and quick access to Siri have been highlights in the first month of use. Comfortable durable it would be great to have it waterproof also. It will handle rain and splashes from hand washing, but really waterproof would be a fantastic addition.

Let me start by saying I have not purchased any other smart watches so this review is not a comparison. I purchased this for my wife. She says it is comfortable on her small wrist and is easy to read. She also likes the convenience of being able to receive notifications, texts, calls, etc. without having to take her iPhone out of her purse.

I was apprehensive about purchasing the apple watch initially. I am not completely sold on apple products even though I own quite a few. The watch superseded my expectations. The band is very comfortable and I enjoy customizing my face. I like the ease of responding to text messages by simply speaking into the microphone and it being transposed into a message. It took a little getting used to the vibration alert from incoming messages and emails and it feels a little rude checking my watch (it looks like you are bored and checking the time) but I quickly overcame that. The only changes I wish they would make is for the watch to receive messages further away from your phone, and the face remain on longer without killing the battery. I am glad I made the purchase

I was hesitant about getting the Apple watch for some times after reading all the initial reviews. A couple months went by and after the most recent update- the reviews turned for the better! Whilr on sale, I decided to take the plunge and I am sure glad I did. This watch has become an essential part of my daily life. I love that I can be in another part of my workplace and have the convenience of telling if my phone is ringing. This is great if I am expecting a call and dont want to miss it by being away from my desk. I Love that my alarms ring to it. The Stand Up feature is awesome as I work at a desk for 8 hours of my day. There is so much more that I could rave about. If you are considering getting one- do it! It is worth every penny and more.

One would think with the title and the star count, it wouldn't line up, because they contradict each other, but I am happy with it. I lingered on the watch to see how it would pan out with friends before I dropped $349, plus another $49(?) for the Apple Care. It is a bit steep if you ask me, but it is Apple and apple products do come a bit overpriced. At the end of the day... Am I happy with it? Yes. It does what I need it to do, which is alert me with texts, phone calls and other notifications. It is nice that I don't need to carry my phone through the house if I am waiting on a call or text. The other day I used it to answer a phone call which was an odd talking to my watch, I wonder what other people who saw me answer my wrist thought? The notifications, like I noted are great. I did have to shut off a bit of them though because the battery drains quickly with a lot of notifications most likely since I have a higher buzz setting. Speaking of battery life, I really don't appreciate the lack of life. I have to charge it every night. That alone deleted the option to use it to monitor how angry my sleep was. I hope the future updates/watches bring a better battery life. As for the apps? I use a few of them. I am curious to see what kind of apps will come out, now that Apple opened the door for app makers. For the time being I use mostly the calendar, messaging, Runkeeper, their activity app, etc. Their activity app is so-so, I do like it reminds me every hour to get off my butt and move but I wish it would clearly draw out the steps you take. Being that I was upgrading from a Fitbit Charge HR I was hoping to clearly see my steps. I guess I could use a different app for that. As for the durability, I would like to think its holding up pretty well. I have whacked it a few times and it's held up (this is why I got the Apple Care). Overall, I do like it, just not completely in love with it. It looks and works very well but it would be nice if it were $50-$100 cheaper to compete with other watch prices.

This watch is really nice and comfortable. I get lots of compliments on the color ( I got the sport watch with the rose body and lavender strap). I like that it tracks my workouts for me and the heart rate checker is great to using during my workouts. I am a hairdresser. So this is watch comes in handy when I can't see who is calling/messaging me on my phone while my hands are busy. It's also handy when you're digging into your purse trying to get your phone to see who is calling or texting. You can just look at the watch and take the call or text right there and then.

If this is for fashion and the fitness is just a bonus then this is for you. The rose gold I love and matches my phone perfectly. It has many different faces to select from, and many apps are accessible from the screen. As a watch it works well, after having for approximately 2 months there are some things I wish I had known before my purchase. One thing is if I answer a call from my watch I must speak from my watch, although I'm wearing a bluetooth headset. Not sure if there is something I'm missing. Also, it is very dependent on the phone. It would have been great to go for a walk and for it to still track steps independent of the phone. You also need to be in range to answer calls. It does track steps, calories, and distance through out the day. The heart rate monitor has been hit and miss. Sometimes it is really on and then a few times it has been way off. So maybe I should have waited for the 2nd generation for the bugs to be worked out, but it is a very good addition to my watch collection. Not recommended if the fitness aspect is priority, but I do recommend for a good watch with perks.

I'm really enjoying the Apple Watch. It is a necessity? No, of course not, but it sure is convenient. I don't need to dig my phone out of my purse to read a text, or even to take a call. It reminds me to get up from my desk and move during the day and tracks my activity. Apple Pay works well and the payments process instantly, so no more waiting on the chip reader at places that accept mobile payments. Apps work great. Yes, my phone can do all of this and more, but the watch is always on my arm. My phone falls to the bottom of my purse or get left in another room, so it is sometimes harder to put my hands on. I'm sure the Apple Watch is not for everyone, but I love it!

It's already proving to be useful. my toddler loves to play on my phone, so I am able to stay engaged and miss less messages/calls with the phone. Additionally, I am always moving around in meetings and finding myself trying to remember my next meeting. Sometimes I leave my phone at my desk, so the modular set up allows me to customize my view to quick access to my work calendar for my next meeting. I had previously planned to purchase a fitbit, but the multi-purpose function makes this Apple Sports watch just perfect for what I needed. I love productivity, and this has already helped a ton with that. It's very comfortable. I love the smaller size for my wrists.

Yes I love Apple products, but keep in mind that I do not wear jewelry or watches. With that said the watch is comfortable I don't even realize I'm wearing it. I love the activity app and the fact I don't have to look at my iPhone all the time especially when I'm in a meeting or teaching. Can it be improved? Yes I wish it had GPS built in it, but I'm never far from my iPhone anyway so its not a big deal. This is the first watch that has felt comfortable on me; even better than some fit bands i tried on.

Wow! Can't say enough about this. First off as a woman with a smaller frame the 38mm is perfect. I love the way it works with my phone. I can leave my phone in my purse but still know when I get a call or text. Can even respond with the watch. So far one of my favorite things is how the driving directions go to the watch. When the watch first came out I really didn't think I'd get it. Now that I have it I never go without it. Definitely a great purchase.
