My wife bought this for me for my birthday and I have been very pleasantly surprised by how useful it is. I would have rated it a five, but having to charge the battery daily is somewhat limiting as I spend time off grid hunting and fishing. Otherwise, it works great for fitness (Apple could improve their software - fitbit is better) and is far more useful than I expected for messaging, etc. It really is great not to have to grab my phone every time I get a notification.

Great if you’re looking to have quick and easy phone calls and notification from your phone. It’s nice looking with some pretty cool customizable display options. The watch has a battery life of 1 day and will need to be charged every night. However if you’re also looking for a replacement for fitbit or a high end heart rate monitor, I recommend waiting. Reasons: Heart rate monitor lags. If you’re trying to work out in fat burning zones it will get annoying waiting for the watch to catch up. The Pedometer also lags - This is a little of an annoyance if you have a step goal for the day and waiting for the watch to update. All in all It’s a fun toy and if I did not feel like I needed to wear the iwatch and my fitbit I would keep the watch. However given that is not cheap, I feel it’s worth a wait to see what apple can improve for the next watch.

This is a like a remote for your phone. What do I need that for? What a waste of money. Bought two, took both of them back and what a hassle that was. I played with it and tried to like it. No point. I'd rather buy a much less expensive watch.

Great Watch With Many Useful Features

At first, I was one of those people who believed that the Apple Watch was a waste of money, thinking to myself that I would never get one, and when seeing someone actually wearing one, thinking to myself "why"? However, I recently purchased a Fitbit charge hr, and noticed that the Apple Watch was on sale for just a little more than the Fitbit, all while doing everything and much more than the Fitbit could do. So, I gave it a try. I must say, I now understand why people enjoy it so much. It is an excellent tool for exercise , counting your steps and activity, as well as your heart rate. The sport band is very comfortable while wearing during exercise too. Also, receiving and replying to texts is a breeze, as is making phone calls. Recently, Apple Pay became available in my country, and it is very convenient to pay with the watch without having to take out your wallet. I would recommend the 42mm screen size, as the 38 is a bit small, especially for those with larger fingers. I would recommend this watch for those who already own Apple products and enjoy the seamless operation and easy learning curve, for those who want to track exercise activity, or those who love new technology.

My apple watch is now my go to device. It's so much easier to use than to pull out my phone. I work with my hands all day and don't have time to slow down. Being able to respond to texts and answer calls with the touch of one finger is awesome. It's better than awesome. It's made me more productive at work. It's also helped me get healthier and move more to achieve my move goals. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made.

The thing I was most worried about was the protection of the actual watch. But with the purchase of a third party case, I am confident in the entire watch. The watch functions perfectly. The phone calls a fairly easy to hear although driving in a car is kind of hard to hear if you use the watch. I do wish there were a few more options for the face of the watch though. That is really my only complaint. I get two days out of my battery. But I don't use it nearly as much as some people do. I do recommend that if you decide to buy this watch that you buy a stand for it. It's much easier to charge rather than it just sitting on something. I also recommend buying a case for it. Like an extra watch band essentially so that you can protect your new $300+ watch, because after all, who wants to spend 300 dollars to let it break after a month of having it. But overall this is a great smart watch and another great apple product.

This watch is amazing. I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it. It has tons of features I will describe below. I found an open box online and ended up paying 50% off for this watch. Normally $400 but got it for $200 and the open box was literally just open box. I peeled the sticker off the face and nothing was even taken out of the box the charger and all weren't touched and the watch had never been taken out of the box. You can make calls, texts, get directions, calendar, time, alarm. It is also just like a Fitbit. It counts your steps, how long you have exercised, how long to have stood in a 12 hr period, and how many calories you have burned. There are apps that you can download to your watch. You will love it. I secretly want to take it off his wrist at times, lol! Be sure i you buy from Best Buy that you get Best Buy rewards because for every $250 you spend you get $5 in store credit.

Apple I-Watch is Much More Than a Watch

I bought an Apple I-watch for two main reasons. One is to track my fitness workouts and the second to use on hikes. The fitness information is built in the watch and I purchased a separate GPS program for real time location data while hiking. For me this is superior to a 'Fit- Bit' that has no GPS capability and the Apple I-Watch also keeps my daily appointments and much more. It's sleek, lightweight and turns on when I raise my wrist. Great Product!

    Great Fitness Watch & More!

I bought the Apple Watch after a lot of research and reading countless reviews. The free software upgrade coming this fall (OS 3) also influenced my decision. The Apple Watch will be even better! Check out the Apple website for a preview of the big changes to come! Fitness and healthy living was my main goal in deciding on the Apple Watch. I had tried a couple Fitbit's first, including the new Blaze, but decided on the Apple Watch. It definitely motivates me as I am obsessed with completing the circles every day! In addition to the fitness app, I do love the convenience of seeing and being able to respond to calls and texts. Aside from when I am exercising, this also comes in handy when I am shopping or at a loud place. I no longer miss calls or texts because I did not hear my phone in my handbag. Also, it keeps my large iPhone 6s Plus safe in my handbag without my having to juggle it with my hands full. I bought the gold with antique white band in the 38mm size. Perfect size for my small wrist and the band is extremely comfortable. I find the Apple Watch to look both casual and professional at the same time. The Apple Watch has definitely improved my lifestyle and I recommend it.

Thought it was dumb, but now I can't live without

My husband gets all geeky when Apple announces their new products, and I just roll my eye. A $350 iPhone I can wear on my arm? Oh please. And don't get me started on their $100 pencil (which I unfortunately also love now that we own a Pro.) I had no interest in an Apple Watch. In fact, I wanted a Fitbit. So of course, hubby bought me the watch. Now you'd think after 13 years together I would know he can be trusted to buy me the right gift, but I was leery at first. That lasted about thirty seconds--the amount of time it takes to pair the watch with your iPhone. I am still in awe of how seamlessly the integration works. I thought I'd waste more time on Apple gadgets because it was right there attached to me, but in fact having the watch keeps the phone out of my hand. I spend less time trying to beat a candy crush level, because I don't see the little icon every time I get a text or call. The watch makes it easy to answer calls since I don't have to figure out where my 2 year old hid my phone. My husband says there's no excuse to miss a call now, and he's right. I haven't missed one! It keeps a charge pretty well, and I love the activity tracker. I even downloaded a sleep tracking app, to help me monitor my sleep. I like the lilac band it came with, but there are cute off-brand ones, too. Lots of great choices to customize the look. For those wondering, the rose gold face is gorgeous, and the 38 mm fits all but the manliest tree trunk wrists. (You get 2 bands with the watch: a s/m and a m/l, so no worries on wrist sizes.) If you've been thinking about getting an Apple Watch, and you already have an iPhone, I'd say go for it. Take it from a skeptic: it's worth it.

I went back and forth with other types of smart watches and fitness trackers and I decided on the Apple Watch. I love that it works with my iPhone and offer features for messaging, email, and phone. The Apple Watch works great with other fitness apps such as Runtastic and the built in activity app works great.
