I've had a Fitbit for 3 years and thought I didn't care about all of the extra features the Iwatch has to offer but boy was I wrong! It is very user friendly and works seamlessly with my iPhone!

    Great!

Been looking for a wearable for a while now, but because I have an iPhone my choices were limited. After checking out the apple watch online and in store I decided to purchase one and boy am I glad I did! It's great being able to see my notifications at a "glance", answer calls, send quick messages, etc. Battery life is great! Charge in the morning and lasts me the whole day and like 25% of the next day. Looks a bit bulky but after a few days of wearing it, you sometimes forget you have it on. Honestly it is a great device and although it had a high price tag, it is worth every penny (at least I think so). Although I haven't tried on the other watch bands (leather, metal) the sport band is amazingly comfortable plus whats great is you can buy more and just replace them. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

    Ruining My Life

Watch works too well. All my messages and phone calls come through without a hassle, even when out of range (and on wifi) at home. It's because of this that if I ignore my family or friend's messages/calls I get called out, because they know I'll get it because I'm always wearing this watch. Now I'm forced to socialize. The struggle. Now I know you're thinking, "Just take it off, stupid!" But closing those darn activity rings becomes addicting. I'm going to end up in reverse-rehab with a perfect body all healthy, ugh. And this doesn't even start to cover how quickly I'm in and out of a store, because Apple Pay is just too convenient. I don't even get a chance to look stupid in front of a cute cashier anymore. Whatever. Anyway, I would continue, but apparently I need to stand for a minute. Bah.

Cool tech, but just not practical yet

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She really liked the idea of the watch, but unfortunately the downsides of it really outweighed the positives for her. She is a stay at home mom, so she is constantly on the go but never in a position that she can't pull out her phone. If you are in meetings and want to slyly look at incoming messages/calls, this would be great. But she can just pull out her phone and look. We have navigation in the car, so the navigation aides built into the watch were not really helpful, and the pedometer function isn't overly accurate. She also wouldn't wear it to work out as she was worried she would scratch the surface on the cardio equipment and weights. The daily charging is also kind of a pain... we already have phones, MacBooks, and iPads that need to charge every night... we are running out of electrical outlets! So... cool technology, just not practical for the stay-at-home mom yet.

38mm great size for a woman

I've been wanting to get the Apple watch for a while now. So did a research on it and saw lots of great reviews along with bad ones. I wasn't sure on what size to get. They have 42mm and the 38mm. To me the 42mm is more for a man and the 38mm is for the ladies. So I got the 38mm and it was perfect for me. It was not big at all. I love my watch and I like how you can change the band to any color you want.

This is definitely not a replacement for your phone. What is nice, however, is not having to pull your phone out for every silly little message, notification, etc. it makes it easier to go through your day without being interrupted as long. I started to notice how annoying it was to watch other people pull their phone out and check it for something in the middle of a conversation or day. Changing watch faces is nice and you can do it whenever you want. I do it more often than I anticipated. Battery life is about a day. I'd recommend turning off some of the needless features to save life. I got a charger when I'm at work and that makes it more tolerable. If I don't workout (use the heart rate monitor) I will have roughly 50% at 5pm. A workout will drop that to about 1-2pm. The speaker isn't very loud, so a little hard to talk in the car, but just fine in an office.

    Love the Apple Watch

I waited for the price to go down to purchase this watch and so glad I did. I love the feel on my wrist, the different features that it has are outstanding! I have spoken on the phone, replied to texts, read email, tracked my exercise, view photos and used several as the watch face, checked weather, set alarms, played music, and there's so much more! I am able to receive WhatsApp messages to my watch but cannot initiate a post-hopefully it will be added as an Apple watch app soon! Great deal going on now- get it!

I've had Apple Watch several months now and use many features, especially fitness tracking, texting with Siri, Apple Pay, even checking in at LA Fitness! Also answer phone calls on occasion. I set up my favorite stock as a complication, so I can check price movements just by raising my wrist. Can't wait for this to replace my wallet, car keys, door key, etc. also love sending heart beats to my S.O.

I tried a pebble, and didn't like it. Cheap feeling and just wasn't what I was hoping for. I returned it and bought this apple watch instead. I recommend this to anyone who is already vested with apple products don't get a fitbitor a pebble, spring for the good stuff, the one I know will work with all my current 'Apple gear'

So much better than other "watches"

I got a different "watch" or "band" for my wife for her birthday. She hated it. It was uncomfortable, ugly, and not very useful. So, we returned that and got an Apple Watch. She loves it. It is stylish, functional, and comfortable. It helps that she can get quick glances of things when she is running around the house. She also loves the function where she can ping the phone easily when she misplaces it (which happens a lot). So, all in all, it is an awesome product!

Great Apple Design. Battery Life Suffers.

Apple products in my view always look expensive and have a clean and modern feel, this apple watch is no exception. The screen and layouts for each section are visually appealing and again top notch. The ability to respond to text messages quickly is a plus for me. I haven't used a lot of the functions yet, but the turn by turn navigation seems like a pointless feature to me, but you can turn it off if you don't want your phone to send that info to your watch as well. I haven't had a chance to go through all the features so some things on my wishlist may be doable, I just haven't figured it out yet. I wish you could remove app icons for things that come on the watch, like the Stocks, World Clock, etc. I just dont use those and they are taking up valuable real estate on the small screen. The battery has a short life between charging as well. I got 2 days out of it once, but most days it only lasts 24 hours and I don't even use it that much. A nice feature would be to turn it off while I sleep automatically, or at least set a do not disturb/low power schedule, from 10pm-6am for example. I can put it in power reserve mode, but that is an extra step that I will probably forget. Another concern is how waterproof it is. Apple states it is water resistant. Basically from splashes, etc. If I recall they don't recommend wearing in shower or the pool. I did put my hand under the sink a couple times and so far so good. I have also seen videos of people testing in swimming pools for long periods, but this is not me suggesting you do it. Overall I like it better than any other smart watch, fitness band I have owned, but the battery life really bothers me more than anything else.
