I had given up wearing a watch and now I can't live without one. Had a little trouble getting everything set up, Apple support was very helpful to get me on the right track. I got my first message while out shopping and I was amazed. I also appreciate the reminders to get up from my laptop (and work) and move around every hour. The time is easy to see and I'm definitely paying attention to my goals for being active. You can sync a playlist of up to 100 songs to the watch, so I always have my favorite tunes with me :) Before I bought the watch I was concerned with being able to actually "see" things on it--not an issue with accessibility options. The irony of "complications" or apps for the watch was not lost on me. If you're not 18-30, it can be frustrating to get the Apple watch sync-ed and set up. Give yourself a couple of days to explore and play around with it, and then it's like the iPhone--you're using it and can't remember when you didn't have one.

This is my first smart watch, and I love it. Like all Apple products, it plays nicely with my phone and the only thing I would ask for is more apps that are compatible with the watch. Still a great buy, and more apps will come along as time passes! Love my Watch!

First, even if you're not in the Apple ecosystem, you want a smart watch. If you're in the Apple ecosystem, you want THIS watch. There's no question. I don't need to repost all the praises highlighted in the other reviews, so I'll talk about the few picky things that led me to subtract a star, which was extremely painful for me to do. First, I do wish that the folks on Jony Ive's team had made the watch more beautiful. There, I said it. Yes, it's sleek. Yes, it's clean. No, it's not beautiful. Second, I wish they had paid attention to more detail on the accessories. For example, I have the rose gold case, but I'm not a fan of the lavender band that comes stock with the 28mm version. However, when you buy a new band it comes with stainless trim. This is even true with the Edition model. Boo. Third, the fitness app is pretty clumsy to use, which is really the main reason for me getting the watch. I've been using a Mio Alpha for heart rate monitoring, which is the gold-standard in wrist-based HRM. The Apple Watch is tough to use for constant HRM and I've had a heck of a time feeding heart rate data to third party apps. As a fitness watch I'd give it a B- for the serious athlete. It's more suited to the Planet Fitness-type of gym rat.

I have only had it for about a week. I am still customizing my options. So far it is a neat tool to utilize at work, where I do not want to handle my phone. It was easy to sync to my phone. It is comfortable fit. The white band surprisingly stays clean. The only downfall for me is that I cannot track my sleep with an app, because I charge it at night.

It's a beautiful ladies watch, the rose gold and lavender band go well together and create a feminine look. Over time, she has gone more and more comfortable using it and now loves it and really depends on various functions.

For quick-glance info. Need weather at a glance, or don't want to miss a call? Are you working in a place where it isn't easy to use your phone or even check it? This is for you. Easy wrist payments. I'm not saying Apple Pay on my wrist always makes sense, but as more terminals get Apple Pay I feel more and more like I'm in a wallet-less world. Turn-by-turn directions while driving. But you have to use Apple Maps to get the best experience, which doesn't always pick the most efficient routes. It's a pretty good fitness tracker. The Watch tracks steps, heart rate, and little daily achievements. And it works with a lot of third-party apps, even though they're not all great. Nice design, for a smartwatch. Lots of finishes and really good-looking bands.

I bought this a Christmas present for my wife and she loves it! We had no problems syncing it to her phone and getting set up, and she loves that she can get notifications and track her health. Additionally, apple makes beautiful products and this one is no exception. One word of advice: don't select the option to download all available apps on setup. A lot of apps you might have don't really have much functionality on the apple watch and tend to just clutter you screen space. Download the core apps that you use and then add apps on a need basis. All in all the Apple Watch is a great little gadget!

Absolutely dependable Apple Watch. Mine is still going years later and everything works great.

The Apple Watch has quickly become one of those things that I can't leave home without. If I do leave it behind, I turn around and go get it. It's right up there with my phone. It goes everywhere with me.

Bought this Apple watch at Best Buy $100 off for my wife for Christmas. She loves it and nevver leaves home without it. All her friends have it and they all communicate through their wayches. Verry cool.

I received an Apple Watch for Christmas and I liked it so much that I purchased one for my mom for Christmas as well. At the time Best Buy had a sale for it. This is around 12/27.. I bought my mom presents already and this one an additional present :-) she loves it too. We are petite and the watch fits nicely on us without any discomfort. The screen size is perfect and it goes with everything. It def is not a necessity for the iPhone but certainly a very nice accessory to have. It is the best one compared to what is out.. Yes android brands included and even compared to pebble. Love it and don't regret it one bit!! Got my mom the black and space grey model. For Christmas I got the lavender rose gold model.

After wanting an Apple Watch since they were announced, I finally bought one in May. I've had it for about two months now, and I've been really happy with the purchase. They are definitely not a necessity, but they're fun gadgets to have, I think they're stylish, and if you're a busy person they definitely are useful. Sometimes the apps open a little slowly for my liking, but it's definitely something I can live with. The size is just right for my small wrists and hands, and I love the color of the watch and the band. I've been very pleased with my Apple Watch, and I encourage getting one if you're a gadget geek, a mobile power user, or a big Apple fan.

Bought two to give as a gift to each my mom and sister and they love it. We have our own sport edition watches and I find it very useful. I love that it tracks my calories and can do much more than a fitbit. I can view my messages on here without having to take out my phone during the workday when I am helping customers and it looks as if I am simply glancing at my watch. I have gotten asked by a lot of people if I have "one of those apple watches," and my response is of course and I love it! Has a ways to go and a few more updates should take care of some of the things you are unable to use it for but Apple will get the OS down for sure.

If you are thinking about buying the apple watch just do it. My wife loves hers and is very happy with the purchase She uses it every day and it works well with her iPhone 6 Plus.

As someone who works a desk job from home, my Apple Watch helped me to stay moving with the Activity goals and has helped me to not only not gain weight working from home, but actually lose weight. I love the digital touch features to send my fiancé my heartbeat, too, and being able to receive my driving directions right on my wrist. Love love LOVE my Apple Watch!!

I do wish the battery lasted a bit longer, but other than that it is great! It's comfortable, which is important to me. I love the way the band tucks into itself instead of having a flap hanging off. It's nice to get my notifications and not have to be glued to my phone as much.

I was questioning the need for this device and I am still a bit skeptical vs a standard watch. However so far I am enjoying it and it seems to work well in true Apple fashion. Time will tell exactly how useful it is. It is overall quite comfortable and I enjoy just needing to glance at my watch instead of digging in my purse for my phone. I am still learning how to work the watch, but overall I think I will enjoy it.

Hard to say no to this item when best buy is having such a great sale. I only wish I had waited for an even better deal. Definitely worth the price though.

PURCHASED THIS WATCH FOR MY WIFE AFTER SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE COLOR COMBO AND SHE ALREADY HAS AN IPHONE. SHE LOVES IT AND ENJOYS SWITCH THE BANDS.

I finally decided to upgrade my iPhone and match the phone and watch so this rose gold in 38mm was perfect. I did change the band to a black one and like it better for work. I was surprised to see how much I like the fitness app on the watch that came with it. It has worked flawlessly for me from the first day of setup. No issues even when installing the new iOS versions for the watch. My battery lasts more than a day and that is great.
