Fancy dancy fitness tracker

Heart rate monitor is spotty at best, so it it's not useful for tracking calories burned. No independent wifi connection means you always need to have your phone on you (can't take calls on your watch if your phone is somewhere else in the house). App store is still VERY limited. Overall, it feels like Apple will make the Watch more useful in later models.

It is perfect for on the go people that need to be mindful of a calendar. I also don't like to carry my phone in my hand so it's nice to not have to. You can grab calls from the watch or at least go grab your phone when you feel the watch alert that a call is coming.

I was not allowed to do that, so I exchanged it for an open box, for which I was able to purchase apple care. Both the open box and the refurbished seem to function perfectly. However, I really wanted the apple care to accompany my purchase.
