Great quality video, a little to small but definitely recommended for the price..:)

from the time I installed the unit I was pleased with it. the recordings were always clear and bright. it turned on or off with ease. the shock recording save was really good. I don't believe I will have to up grade at all.

So, for the price it's a great dash cam. What I will say is battery life is non existent. Prepare to mount and find a way to hide the wires because the battery has lasted me tops a half hour. Takes a little to figure out but decent for the money. I would recommend going up to a little more expensive model but if money is an object this will do the trick.

This was the perfect addition to my truck. Setup is extremely easy. Video is crystal clear. Viewing on my laptop or computer is just connecting a cable. Allows you to save a section of video if you see anything unusual, on the go. I recommend this for everyone and it will also help you remember your driving skills.

I have had two dashcams so far and this Uniden is the best so far, readable license tags, clear video. I have had a cheaper dashcam and they just don't last or have a good quality video, with drivers on today's roads this can pay for itself in saving you from fault in an accident.

Easy to install. I ran wire under the roof of my car, down the B pillar, under the dash and into my cigarette outlet. It turns on when I turn engine on. Shuts off when I turn engine off. It doesn’t take much space and I don’t notice it while driving. And the best part is it comes with a memory card.

Camera is very small and does not obstruct the view during driving. It does a great job recording during the day. Night recording is not so good (the reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating). I like how it automatically starts recording when connected to charger that provides power only when the key is in the ignition and stops recording when the key is out. It also erases old recording after it reaches full capacity of the storage space which is nice because you don't have to worry about forgetting to erase old recordings to make sure it can continue recording.

Pleased with this dash cam's quality and scope of recording capabilities. Installing it was a little tricky because my car has front facing cameras for safety features (EyeSight). I would recommend this camera for someone who is looking for relatively basic recording capabilities. I highly recommend buying at least a 128gb memory card with it - it fills up rather quickly.

Not bad at all for the price; but do not get it for the night vision.

I love this camera. Great resolution. Good at night. Gives 3 minute videos back to back until your memory is full. I put 32gb card in it. Its easy to download the videos. You can turn the sound on or off. I've had it for a month now and so far so good.

I've always have wanted to try out a dash cam and this one went on a great sale so I bought it. It is very easy to operate even for a novice, the picture quality is better that I expected.

Bought it because of black Friday sale... More than half off, so far so good, I took a star off because the screen was very tiny, and the plug from the USB has that fat round piece on the end of the plug and I wish the USB wire could be tinner. Very responsive on the menu. I would not buy this item if it wasn't more than half off.

I like the dashcam so far. Its small and does not obstruct your view very much. The low light performance is better than I expected....you can see the road quite well at night. The suction cup mount could be better though....where it connects to the camera seems a little weak and looks like it may break if your not careful of it.

The dash cam is good quality for day and night time. My fiancée he travels a lot so he decided to get one and he travels at night time. He showed me the quality on his lap top of the previous recordings. It was clear for both day and night. It records voice while inside the vehicle too. He recommended it to his friends.

This is my third dash cam and by far I am much more satisfied by the Uniden DCAM. It has a very small footprint on my windshield and I don’t really notice it at all anymore. I have it hardwired to the car so it turns on with the ignition and shuts off when the key is removed. I use a 32 gb micro sd card and use the 3 minute auto record feature...I have had over 75 files recorded at a time without needing to overwrite any. I especially like the locking feature to prevent a current or previously recorded file from being deleted. A single press of a button while driving locks the current video from being lost. It records in various formats...I use the 1080 hd and the picture quality is very good on replay on my laptop. Worth the price.

Once you read the book and get it set up....all you have to do is drive....it comes on automatically and records all by its self....now this model is not 200.00 or more bucks so it has its limits....but if you get hit or need to save something just hit the save to file button and it will not erase it on the re-record loop....I wish it could hold a bigger Memory stick I have a 32 gig in it now...and you cant set it to record at night unless you either wire it straight in or leave your key on....n as you know that is not wise...I wanted it to record like repair shops and stuff and leave it on when I go in to the store to see who is jackin with ma ride ya feel me....? but as a cheaper unit goes it records what it sees...

This dash cam is all you need for your protection on the road. It produces decent picture quality and with its compact size, it’s not even noticeable on the windshield. The power cord just needs to be organized so that it won’t be hanging on the way. It’ll do the job!

It's a very simple dash cam. I like the quality of the video and sound. Battery life is short so I keep the power cable always on. The record on movement feature does not seem to work very well.

This is the best priced quality dash cam in the market. I've used one for 1.5 yrs and decided to get 2 more for my other cars. Excellent quality and very affordable.
