I was searching for a dash camera and came across this one. I'm still learning how to use the features it comes in handy on trips. My only drawback is I should gother one with a bigger screen Records great nice mic, and the other features are a bonus for me

The camera has great video quality, but time will tell with the construction quality. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the mount, but so far it's held up very well. However I've only had the camera for a month and 4 days and I just had to bring it back to the store and exchange it. I highly recommend buying the protection plan when getting this camera. I normally don't get them but I thought it would be a good idea with this, I was more so worried about it falling off the windshield and breaking but instead the cameras USB port stopped working and the camera would no longer charge. Thankfully all i had to do was walk in with my receipt and the camera and I walked out with a new camera in the box. Hopefully this second one will hold up better then the first.

The pictures/videos are pretty clear but the reason for buying this was to see license plates if there's an accident since someone ran me off the road and kept going. I haven't been able to get a clear view when someone is turning in front of me from the left or right. I think it would also be useful to be able to zoom in once you put the video on the computer.

Stopped working right after about a year. It just wouldn't turn on like the battery was dead. I brought it in the house and plugged it into the laptop and it kept beeping acting like it was trying to start. Like caught in a boot loop. I left it plugged in to see if the battery might charge. It just keeps doing the same thing. Junk and I won't buy another one.

Purchased two of these. Took them home to install and found that neither one would take a charge. Even after 24 hrs of charging neither one had more than about 15 seconds of battery power before shutting down. On external power one of them would not record for more than five seconds before stopping and the other could not save files to the card and would display a warning "card error format card". But the camera was unable to format the card.

It's a great camera lots of functions however after having it for a month the connection at the usb port to the camera (power cord side) just came apart. I deliver pizza and drive for uber so having a camera that falls apart does no good. My advice, spend a little more for a more durable product. Also the shock sensor is far too sensitive, a small bump in the road sets it off or even a moderate stop. Lane departure warning system is great. Overall I like it but with catastrophic failure of the power cord its not even a one star product.

I bought it and at the second day, the power cord melted from the head of Mini USB part, I live in the north part of California, the weather was hot but my Polaroid one works totally fine. Plus the Land Departure Warning is not working at all, it only alarmed once when I was driving. Got no choice, need to return it...

The recording or snapshot quality is very poor, it only gives you a general picture, if you want to get a license plate number of the car in front of you, forget it. Total waste of money.

While the picture quality is fine, there is no sound, and I do have it turned on and set at max. Due to my disabilities I didn't get it in before the 14 day return and I don't want to spend the money to get the sound fixed so I'm basically stuck with it. Also, nobody at Best Buy had any idea on how it worked, so I'm through with Best Buy and Uniden and wouldn't send anybody to either one!

First the battery life is horrible!!!!!!! Second I've only had it for a week and a half and now it's telling me there's a Card error. Save yourself some trouble and don't buy this camera... Also bestbuy should bake the return day longer, I originally started having problems a day after I could return it...

Only lasted a week. It would constantly go into emergency recording when driving was normal. Also the card reader was messed up. Every time I turned it on it it wantes to reformat my card and eventually wouldn't recognize any card.

I received the dash cam for Christmas and immediately had issues with it. First, let me say I'm in IT--I am familiar and adept with all kinds of gadgets. When I first plugged the dash cam in with the included 8GB SD card, it threw an error--please format card. Ok, I go to menu, File management and format the card. It begins then throws the exact same error, please format card. Tried a few more times, tested the card in another device--it worked. Tried two other known good cards of my own, same thing. Tried resetting the camera. Searched their website and found nothing. Sent their tech support an email. Got the automated response and nothing more for several days. Tried again and this time I got a response telling me how to send it in for warranty support. Clearly a form letter. Took it back to Best Buy and returned it--no problem and the associate their tells me she'd gotten a few others back for the same issue. If they can't support their product, not even when its brand new, forget about it. Get something else. I did!

The camera has a nice size screen, worth the price.

After about 6 months this would no longer turn on. At first it would die super fast, till the point that even if connected it would not turn on.

This dash cam did not last 45 minutes. Drove about thirty miles it said battery was dead but it was plugged in.
