The range and sensitivity of this detector is fantastic, saved my butt twice already! Able to detect officers over hills and around corners using this detector. Great sensitivity and options for the price!

I personal would not own this radar detector only bc I own the Brand new Valentine Gen 2 . Bought this for my father bc for the price you will not beat the range of this detector. The range is nowheres near my Valentine but I know for a fact that's its better than the OVER-PRICED new Escort. Do not fall for the Escort bc it has a fancy app, bc thats all that it has.

I had read many reviews before deciding on the Uniden R3 model. At the time the R8 just had came out and very pricey. This one has same features and many good reviews on YouTube. Also once you get it set correctly you will be notified many miles in advance. The auto filter that filters out false signals works really well. I would not drive a vehicle without having.

I bought this to replace my max 360. i wanted the max 360c but its way over priced for me. This radar has saved me many time. i think it works better than my max 360, but it lacks the arrows which i dont mind actually. This is a great product and for 399.99 or cheaper. its well worth it.

This radar detector is fantastic. It has a phenomenal range and alerts me far in advance of any potential encounters with the fuzz. I highly recommend it for anyone who is in the market for a high-quality and affordable radar detector.

This has saved me from being fined by the police on several occasions.

I might be a little bit of a speed demon and this has saved me each and every time. It is quick to detect KA bands and using vortex radar I was able to set it up to where it doesn't beep at me annoyingly at the nearest CVS or 7/11. My only complaint with this radar is that sometimes the GPS doesn't connect until much after and on sometimes it just does not connect at all which makes my commute kind of annoying as I have locations with false alerts marked and saved on the system money. Regardless though, it definitely is worth the money.

The Uniden - R3 Long Range Radar/Laser Detector is superb!! I had another brand Radar Detector for years but I could not get their support people on the phone or by email and I'm extremely happy this issue occurred. I strongly recommend this product and recommended this product it to all my family members. In comparison to the other brand I owned and now threw in the garbage, no false alarms, pleasant audio & pleasant voice alerts. And what's important to me is customer support which I used for pre-sales support. Best Buy had a great price, availability and fast delivery.

Really impressed with this..has so many features. I really like the option to mute memory on places tou pass daily., and the GPS. It was worth every penny!

I have not had the chance to use it on any long trips yet, but I do like the digital on/off and volume control. Some other radar detectors use a mechanical wheel for these functions and the wheel degrades over time. The long detection range has detected a police radar at least 1 mile away around town.

Awesome radar detector. Alerts us to speed traps eveb though we do not speed.

I've had the Uniden R3 for almost 2 months now, and it has saved me from 3 speeding tickets. The long range detection is incredible, alerting me to troopers long before I can see them. I would definitely recommend the Uniden R3 to anyone looking for a radar detector.
