Wonderful unit, this was actually a second unit we bought because it reaches far and is really accurate.

My first radar detector but I love it. It was super easy to get set up. One of my favorite features is you can geotag certain areas that you always drive in to prevent it from accidentally going off. I also love the speed camera detection for school zones. In addition, having red light camera warnings is always nice.

Excellent radar detector that picks up k a band two miles out. Already paid for itself, twice.

The pro is that it is the best radar detector out there, period. This is verified by multiple sources on the interwebs, so please do some research before trying to disagree with me. The only con that I can see is that it still gives false positives from the vehicle collision avoidance systems of other cars. If they could figure this out better, it would be worth 5 stars.

This radar detector is so much more than just detecting radar! It has the many features of more expensive models, but they're easy to use AND customize! I highly recommend this model! Even to someone who has never used a radar detector before!

After fine tuning and using mute memory for local stores with automatic doors. This is a device that I cannot drive without, because it has saved me at least three times in the first week I've had it. My last reading, no joke was at least ½ to ¾ of a mile before I ever saw them.

[Employee of bestbuy] I might be a little bit of a speed demon and this has saved me each and every time. It is quick to detect KA bands and using vortex radar I was able to set it up to where it doesn't beep at me annoyingly at the nearest CVS or 7/11. My only complaint with this radar is that sometimes the GPS doesn't connect until much after and on sometimes it just does not connect at all which makes my commute kind of annoying as I have locations with false alerts marked and saved on the system money. Regardless though, it definitely is worth the money.

I never leave home without this. Best radar detector i ever had. Will buy another one for our other call. Ill use Uniden for life

If you enjoy spirited driving this thing gives you a heads up well in advance. Most of the time I can’t even see what it’s pinging for a minute or two. It is sensitive to automatic doors which might get bothersome to you, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. False positives are better than missed positives in my opinion. And all of the higher end ones will also have the same issue.

Ohhhh this save me a lot of times already. I mainly use it on freeway. Easy to use and accuracy is probably 8 out of 10.

Great unit at a great price. Low false alerts, good detection long range.

The Uniden R3 so far seems to work pretty good, seems like mine is already set up since it doesn’t go off all the time like some users complain about. I had a Uniden before this one and the reason I did was because the windshield mount finally tore apart and I have had it for years, and wanted a new one. I am very satisfied with the Uniden R3.

Very impressed , great price for all the options this unit has, i have picked up police radar from 5 miles away with this unit.
