Definitely an improvement over my old Escort, nowhere near as many false alarms while driving around town. Range seems solid. Performs as it should.

This thing seems to work almost a little to well it’s pretty much going off anytime I drive by stores with automatic doors and cars or vans with those sensors in the mirrors or Deleware.. went through Wilmington and few other towns around there and it went off just about constantly , I’m thinking they maybe doing it on purpose over there ,so you turn thing off? On the bright side I went halfway around the country with it and it. Has served me well though annoyingly.. The mute button is nice but I find I end up hitting mute more than I should have to

Great product, works just as advertised. Cop in anchorage isn't gonna get me again. Im sour cuz he didn't give me a warning, was running couple mins late to my cancer treatment & a warning could've be sufficient enoungh. Thanks bestbuy!

Very good for the money. Is a little chatty with false alerts but has saved me multiple times from a ticket too.

Not only is this radar easy to read, but it has GREAT range. It will detect the police further away than other radars I've owned. You won't be disappointed.

I've had this for a month and love it! Best fuzz buster I've invested in yet! It detects freaky far away and has already saved me 2 tickets at least.

This is honestly the best radar the best bang for your buck don’t cheap out on the cobra one cuz you want a cheap radar!

I bought this item to replace my older one that was big, bulky & 1/2 the time did not pick up radars. This works like a charm & I really like the different sounds for k band & laser.

It’s fantastic and it works great! Accuracy is on point. If you want to go fancy with it get the R8 version

I’ve owned several radar detectors, and none of the others even came close to what this one will do. It will detect law enforcement far,far away. I really like this one, the Unidentifiable R3.

Nice long range rd! Excellent for long commute. Save me a lot from going back and forth to fresno. Previously had the r7 but its too big for my liking

This is a great product and it has saved me tremendously since I installed it.

Bought it for a spontaneous 10 hour trip multiple states away. I was going to resell it thinking I would only need it for long trips, which I don’t make too often, but I am 100% glad I kept it! I bought a wiring kit so I didn’t have to use the normal cable it comes with. The normal cable works amazing tho! I would recommend this for anyone wanting to invest in one!

Works great. The only wish it shows a direction where signal is coming from. But overall - Highly recommend.

Don’t get me wrong, it works and it works really good with police radars. Just the only thing that makes it 4stars and not five, a lot of false alerts. Still will recommend since it does the job with police radars.

Replaced an Escort 8500. What an upgrade in detection and features. So many setting to choose from. Watched several video online prior to deciding on the R3. You will not be disappointed.

Happy with my purchase. It detects radar from afar and is capable of filtering false positives. Much better than the Escort I used to own.

First off radar detector not cop detector lol some people get that confused. I have used. Cheap cobra ones less then 100$ they always go off for blind spot, people’s garage doors. This one filters that out very well. City most of these are hit and miss. High way mode and traveling I have picked up highway patrol 3-4 miles away. Almost installs a sense of false security haha. I use it everyday. No issues. Has a gps built in to store spots that have radar signs so it doesn’t go off. Get one read how it works and what to look for. Learn it’s habits and you will be surprised. People tell you these don’t work lol they are wrong. You still blow past a cop without radar on or do something stupid it’s not gonna save you. But if there radar is on and pointed at you it will let you know. If there’s one thing not to go cheap on is a radar detector. 100% get what you pay for.
