No complaints in 2 months. Gives plenty of warning. My only complaint is the K band goes off a ton, but I’ve learned to ignore it.

It has paid for itself. Out of the box it's ready to go. I only turned the volume down a bit. It's been in my car gor over 4 months. Would like for it to give a direction instead of just detection though. I also never knew department stores have radar in front of them until I bought this. Range is monumental. I detect cops far before I even see them.

This detector has been very accurate and the rage is fantastic. Very minimal false alerts, even with K band on.

I owned the Fuzzbuster... the first commercial radar detector. I have had the Vanetine which is powerful but has too many false alerts. I've been using Escorts for years and have been very happy with them but needed one for another car and decided to try Uniden. Adjusting and trusting the unit took me some time, now, I highly recommend the R3.

I own 2 ESCORT 9500i but when it comes to UNIDEN R3, there is no other radar detector as ACCURATE & QUITE. Also the PRICE is way CHEAPER than ESCORT!!!

In the past i only bought escort radar detectors. I gave uniden and cobra a chance 10 years ago and they were far too inferior so stuck with the expensive but worth it Escort model. My radar detectors typically last about 10 years. I saw this at my BB when looking for a new replacement .I have nothing but good to say about this detector so far. I hope it lasts as long as escorts do. Many great features with many less false alarm notifications than the escort. Most Honda cars would set off the escort with their blindspot monitors. This new Uniden has solved those issues as well as providedd many other customizations. This detector also comes with a great windshield mount which is a pricey option for the escorts. Long advance notice which is a huge must have with my heavy foot.

Great radar detector warns you over 2 miles away and gives you plenty of time to be aware

This radar is by far the best one I've used! It has many functions to filter what kinds of radar bandwidths you wish to detect. Also, has gps so it can remember which locations you want to mark for future drives. I also like the spedometer and the fact I can set up speed alerts with this. Finally, the two mounting clips are both excellent!

This detector is far superior to my previous passport 9800i. False alarms are much less frequent which gives me much more confidence when it does go off.

Great radar detector, long range and accurate. Still picks up alot of k band signals that are not police but still worth it for the other alerts.

I recently purchased the Uniden R3 radar detector, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Great product I've had no problems with it I installed it under the visor in my Corvette have to buy a bracket for it though but that's okay it works wonderful Great product.

I have had the Uniden R3 for over 3 years now. Great for catching X, K, and Ka bands, Ka bands especially. My only gripe is the Laser detection seems to go off in the middle of no where and seems unreliable in the Laser detection facet. I had to disable the laser detection mode completely through the settings. Other than that, its paid itself off 20 times over :) I want arrows now though

Very good for the money. Is a little chatty with false alerts but has saved me multiple times from a ticket too.

Works great. The only wish it shows a direction where signal is coming from. But overall - Highly recommend.

The best radar by far , used it in my friends car for a week and worked how we wanted to work but I couldn’t connect it to my truck because J don’t have a 12V so that’s the reason why I returned it.

It’s fantastic and it works great! Accuracy is on point. If you want to go fancy with it get the R8 version
