Absolutely love this and recommend it !! My husband got the higher end (almost $500) one at the same time and the only down side to mine is that it doesn’t show on my screen where the radar is..his does. Mine does have longer range tho for sure.it’s paid for its self already in a couple short months !also love the many color options !

Better than I thought for my needs. Easy to use and great detection. I used it right out of the box before customizing the setup. Easy setup.

While I can not compare this unit to others on the market, I can say that after researching the top brands before purchasing that this radar detector lives up to all the hype. It is not overly sensitive in fact I regularly drive locally in highway mode and am not distracted with excessive beeping at all. I get plenty of warning time when the local speed trap is in operation. This unit does not have an arrow display but is priced much lower than the ones that do. Excellent buy, no regrets,wish I got it sooner.

Not so expensive and it has the features of more expensive one. Easy to use and so far so good. It’s a keeper.

I got this as a Christmas gift and So far I really Love this radar picks up long distance easy to use and install really recommend it

awesome product I have bought 3 of them they have saved me from tickets many times. by the way this isn't a advertisement to speed !!!

Was deciding between a more expensive Uniden or Escort model with directional arrows but for a couple hundred bucks less decided on the R3 as it has all of the other features. I bought prior to July 4th weekend travel and it came through. Saved me from a small town speed trap as well as alerted a mile or more consistently on the interstate.

Have owned The R1 and R3. Both lost sound thru both the external speaker and the headphone Jack within 15 months. On my second unit (R3) I purchased the Best Buy 2 year extended warranty in addition to the factory Uniden warranty because of the premature failure of the R1. Was worth it as now I have had to move to the R7 in hopes that it will last a little longer than the other 2. Had to pay the difference between the R3 and R7. All the units are super sensitive and provide excellent protection from K and Ka police Radar exceeding the prior Valentine and Escort models. but the competitor's models both last forever. I have witnessed an Escort 360 Come off a Mototcycle at speed, tear the plastic protector off the forward facing horn and it still works.. No excuse for Uniden (a seasoned electronics manufacturer) to produce something shoddily constructed. As mine were babied in my truck and have never been dropped or otherwise abused. In short. Great long range detector but only when it is working. Beware Screen Burn In and Speaker Failure or... Buy the Extended Warranty and relax.!! You'll probably want one of the new Artificial Intelligence models they are working on in a couple years anyway. Lol. **purchase date 8/24/2020 refers to R7 unit**

Great sensitivity. Be prepared for lots of false positives from speed sensing sign warnings. No way around that as they are automated radar detectors. Combine with Waze and you will have lots of warning

Wellllll hate that i need this but I have a speeding problem. So it is nice to be alerted in advance when there is someone radaring ahead. Also nice that it tells me about traffic cameras and stationary radar cameras.

This product is excellent. Service in the store was great as well.

As described, this is a very long range radar detector, it sights the cops radar gun from far, best way to avoid speeding tickets.

This radar does it all. It has GPS a long range detector and if you don’t want other to know you have a radar it is undetectable.

Nice detector. Works well. Price is a bit high. Display is good. comes with smart cord, suction cup mounts (small and large). Would be nice to have hard wire with it. Seems to work good.

Have done testing with this against our Max 360 and it picks up all police radar, especially Ka-band, long before our Max 360 does.

this is by far my favorite radar it detects cops a VERY LOnG way, it works even better on a straight road... it’ll definitely pay off in time due to tickets y’all coulda received for not having this product!

This unit works the best. I couldn't have made a better buy than this one. Works just as it was described, To me no flaws and would tell I my friends this is one to have in your car,
