It does very well at alerting u of a cop at a distance with the only shortcomings being coming up over a hill; i dont think this is unique to this unit. from my little experience with laser speed guns, it would seem most detectors fail to alert u before its to late. Once again, not a problem unique to this device.

As everyone should know it is not a guarantee against a ticket, but this product has saved me many tickets. I love the range. It gives me plenty of time to adjust my speed. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that I wish it had a rechargeable battery backup. I don’t like to leave it visible in certain areas so I have to remove the unit and also the power cable when I want to hide it.

Save me a Ticket on the 1st Day!

Wasnt too sure about this one it’s also n sale. But it’s working well and has a good range. LEO was about 1.5 miles away and over a hill detector found him!

With that being said, it does a fantastic job at picking up active radar. I run only Ka band as that is what is primarily used by LEO’s in my area.
