Bought this for my friend and probably saved him over 1k in speeding tickets. More than 1 mile of range in correct conditions

I decided to go the cheap route and bought a radar detector that only made noise when the cop was in my rear view mirror, this mistake cost me my license for 6 months and i lost my job. This uniden is amazing! Any time this thing picked up ka rader sure enough there was a sneaky cop miles down the road usually writing some poor fool a ticket. I am not a reckless speeder but i cannot for the life of me do 55mph on a open road highway on a sunny day. Theses cops are out here for one reason only and thats to collect money for the state please dont think going 70 in a 55 is unsafe. I dont care if im going to the corner store i keep this on my windshield. Its a real deal what you pay for this compared to lawyer fees and other things that goes along with lost of license.

First one I've bought in a few years. Feels great not to get all the false positives around town. If I do, I can just mute it an never have to worry about it again.

Great unit. One of the best on the market but definitely not the highest price. I did my research before I bought this. I really love the GPS so you can have it ignore false signals in areas that set it off frequently such as those slow down signs that show your current speed.

No complaints, have had many radars in the past and this one is by far the best I’ve had

Works extremely well, and very very accurate. Many features build into it, including the color of screen and all types of changes with how it picks up the bands. Definitely worth the money.

This is a great radar detector for the money. If I'm on a highway and a long straight, I've detected an officer's radar gun 2 miles away. The GPS memory is useful but it does pickup blind-spot monitoring on vehicles and doesn't filter them out too well. Also, it's fragile. It fell off the windshield and that little fall now gives the screen a green line down one side. That's all it took. Otherwise, it's great.

Straight forward radar. Honestly works great. Has a difficult time detecting anything if they are behind a hill/mountain side but if they are in the middle of the highway itll pick them up seveal miles out

Love it!! I had bought this before for an old flame, we used it all the time, when we split, i bought my own and didn't realize it was the same exact one. I really like it, it works great and has already helped me so much.

It's good radar, it detects police at long distances, I recommend it.

very simple to use. GPS feature is helpful since it removes common alerts near my daily route such as store alarms and door sensors. I like that its really easy to unclip and put aside in the glove box in case I'm next to a cop.

One of the best radar detectors out there for the money i put it against my escort redline and this one was going off 15 seconds faster and alot better detection

I've been using radar detectors since the day I started driving. The R3 is a great entry level radar detector for the money.

This radar will start alerting you much farther away than others. Almost makes you wonder where the alerts are coming from. If you need the directional arrows, the R7 is the upgraded version of this one, but is too large in my opinion. The size of this one is just right, and updates are free as well!

Item is accurate and easy to use. Highly recommend it.
