Bought it for a spontaneous 10 hour trip multiple states away. I was going to resell it thinking I would only need it for long trips, which I don’t make too often, but I am 100% glad I kept it! I bought a wiring kit so I didn’t have to use the normal cable it comes with. The normal cable works amazing tho! I would recommend this for anyone wanting to invest in one!

Ticket saver for sure. Bought this for a cross country road trip. Gave me a heads up miles out on some pretty sneaky troopers. Spots them from the rear, up ahead or coming from opposite direction. Has laser function; that has only gone off once and fortunately I was well under the limit. You wont regret this purchase.

GREAT RADAR DETECTOR - THIRD ONE PURCHASES FROM BB. These work very well. Always gives a good notice before you see a officer. No tickets yet... knock on wood.

This has been the best radar i have ever purchased and it's very accurate

I like it for it's accurate warnings and it's ease of mounting however the speed numbers (GPS reading) is difficult to see when wearing sunglasses.

OK, obviously I wouldn't purchase this unless there's a reason. I'm not exactly the most adherent to speed limits, and I don't really want tickets. My old radar detector was going on 20 years old, so it was time for an upgrade. This thing is great; has excellent range and a display that I love.

Once you get this thing set up it's way better than the Escort RedLine or any other radar detector that I've had. Favorite thing is being able to mark locations for false alarms. I compared it side-by-side for a week against my Redline with all the segments set. The R3 always alarmed first so is the clear winner. I sold the redline and the R3 has been on my window for since.

Decent radar. One negative is, It doesn't tell you which direction the radar threat is coming from. It has saved me from at least one ticket in the past six months, so its paid for itself. I believe the best part is that it makes me drive more aware of my surrounds and I actually find myself slowing down more. Its kind of a speeding preventer for me. If that makes sense. I would recommend getting the best radar you can afford.

This thing picks up extreme lomg range. A few times i thought it was a false alarm it picked up so far but three or four miles down the road there was the car shooting radar. Saved me a few tickets already.

On a recent trip from Texas to Florida, and back, this thing has already paid for itself. Nice to be able to filter out K and X bands totally--Most likely no body uses those any more for speed enforcement

This has to be one of the best radars I have bought!!! This thing has saved me multiple times and it comes with a nice carrying case. It’s not too small and not too big, very easy to use.

Works great. Been using the r3 for about a month and I and super happy with the performance. Probably the best radar detector to buy in this price range

This Uniden Radar Detector works great. It does a very good job at picking up radar guns. Yes, it picks up other frequencies but it does a good job at making them quiet and not annoying. Would highly recommend.

I love the product, it works great. It spots the cops and red light cameras from far away!

This works really good. Definitely saved me from a few tickets. It alerts about 2 miles usually. In the city it’s a little iffy on the range but I can’t complain. It gets the job done

Very good for the money. Is a little chatty with false alerts but has saved me multiple times from a ticket too.

Works great for Ka band in my city, avoids false alarms and has mute option button which is great. I like the original window mount, but comes with fancy mount too. Case is nice as well, I always keep mine secure when leaving the car.
