Definitely worth it, and helpful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think it’s very handy dandy to carry around, especially if you like to gas the pedal bit while driving. I bought it, thinking nearly $300 is a little crazy. Turns out, it saves you many traffic violation tickets. It can pick up the signal from a speed radar, or speed laser that most if not all law enforcement officers use. This will tell you how close you are to a cop, giving you time to slow down. Installation is as simple as putting the suction cup on your windshield, and sliding the radar detector on. My states traffic tickets for speeding are around $100-$200, which is half of what I paid for the radar detector. As I mentioned before, it’ll help you slide right out of being caught speeding. Just make sure your state allows this installation.

Great warning time

I've gotten a warning well before anyone was even visible to me. Have not yet gotten any false positives from other car technologies such as blind spot monitoring.

My trip from NM to Las Vegas was cut in half the time. If youve ever gone from kingma AZ to Vegas you know how many cops patrol that desert highway.

The wife gave me the stink eye when I bought but now she wants one for her car lol. Excellent range. When it goes off because of the range you have time to slow down and find the police unit.

You’ll wonder if you are getting a false alert Then finally you will see the police car. Even in city mode. Been very impressed with this unit. The display is a little small. Harder to see for us old folks.

VERY EFFECTIVE AT LOW COST

This one has many great features at a lower cost than most. I have been very happy with this model.

Lots of cops and u get a fair warning miles away. It’s a bit loud but it keep focus on the road. It’s worth it. No stress driving
