I've owned many brands of detectors throughout my life and this is the king. If you get a ticket armed with this unit in your vehicle, then you probably deserve it. You'll be forewarned long in advance of the threat. Just buy it, it'll pay for itself many times over.

This is an all around superb radar detector. The only drawback is the power adapter plug is on the left side of unit. This made for the power cord to hang across the radio/air condition controls since lighter adapter is on the right side of vehicle. Functionality and K/Ka detection outweighs my minor issue with power adapter plug and material construction is high quality.

This has lives up to what it claims. I highly recommend it if you are in the market

Still falses to K band, but does amazingly otherwise. You can't beat the range in this price point, and the rear detection is surprisingly good considering the lack of rear antenna. I only don't use it anymore because I got a Uniden R7

Okay so I was trying to decide should I get this or the R7, I ended up going with R3 because of price and it seemed to not be too far off from the R7. Yes , I do wish I had the arrows but this one I recommend.

Works great when you have the time to fine tune it.

I did a lot of back and forth if I wanted to spend the "big bucks" on a radar detector or get a cheaper one. I'm glad I got the R3, the range is excellent. I've had KA alerts a full mile before the police car was in view.

It's fantastic; it picks up the KA band (Radar) from far away. I can be driving up a curvy mountain, and it still picks it up from far away. I defiantly recommend it.

Very effective, works for long ranges and has good volume settings.

Love how this can detect speed scanners of any kind within before I get visibility. Only caveat to this for being 4 stars is that if I muted it, it comes back on when it detects another radar later on and start beeping again, other then that...this product is great!

While it is expensive it has paid for itself in saved tickets. I did a lot of research on the right radar detector to buy and I feel I made the right choice. Only minor complaint is I wish the cord was on the opposite side.

This works much better than my previous radar detector. I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos on adjusting the settings. Downloading and updating the firmware is not as easy and straightforward as it should be.

I have had this radar detector for a couple of months now and it has saved me from a couple of tickets. The long range feature is amazing. It has picked up radar about 1 - 1.5 miles out it gives you enough time to slow down.

This is probably one of the best bang for you buck radars out there. I recommend this completely.

Works great. Long distance feature definitely works. K band is set off by local grocery stores etc. But la laser is awesome. Saved me at least two tickets already. Open road/highway is awesome and a peace of mind

nice and easy to set up and understanding the instructions were easy, i had no problem picking up any signal on or off the highway

It is the best product out there it helps you a lot when you are traveling far distance
