This is really long range. You’ll wonder if you are getting a false alert Then finally you will see the police car. Even in city mode. Been very impressed with this unit. The display is a little small. Harder to see for us old folks.

This is one of the best detectors ive ever used. My trip from NM to Las Vegas was cut in half the time. If youve ever gone from kingma AZ to Vegas you know how many cops patrol that desert highway.

This is an all around superb radar detector. The only drawback is the power adapter plug is on the left side of unit. This made for the power cord to hang across the radio/air condition controls since lighter adapter is on the right side of vehicle. Functionality and K/Ka detection outweighs my minor issue with power adapter plug and material construction is high quality.

I did a lot of research and it took a couple of years for me to decide on what radar detection device to purchase. This one has many great features at a lower cost than most. I have been very happy with this model.

It's good radar, it detects police at long distances, I recommend it.

Best radar ever it’s 360 you can customize all the sounds and beeps lets you know all red light cameras ahead too.

Best radar detector I have had. This radar never has false readings and average about 2.5 miles.

I love having this in my car while I travel on the freeway to mammoth or Vegas. Lots of cops and u get a fair warning miles away. It’s a bit loud but it keep focus on the road. It’s worth it. No stress driving

Still falses to K band, but does amazingly otherwise. You can't beat the range in this price point, and the rear detection is surprisingly good considering the lack of rear antenna. I only don't use it anymore because I got a Uniden R7

I did a lot of back and forth if I wanted to spend the "big bucks" on a radar detector or get a cheaper one. I'm glad I got the R3, the range is excellent. I've had KA alerts a full mile before the police car was in view.

Okay so I was trying to decide should I get this or the R7, I ended up going with R3 because of price and it seemed to not be too far off from the R7. Yes , I do wish I had the arrows but this one I recommend.

While it is expensive it has paid for itself in saved tickets. I did a lot of research on the right radar detector to buy and I feel I made the right choice. Only minor complaint is I wish the cord was on the opposite side.

This works much better than my previous radar detector. I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos on adjusting the settings. Downloading and updating the firmware is not as easy and straightforward as it should be.

I have had this radar detector for a couple of months now and it has saved me from a couple of tickets. The long range feature is amazing. It has picked up radar about 1 - 1.5 miles out it gives you enough time to slow down.

This was a great part of our LONG road trip, notified 2-4 miles ahead of time. It also works great in the city as well. I would highly recommend this product especially those on the road alot.

The uniden r3 works as planned and works amazing have had 0 issues

I have not gotten a single ticket since I got this radar over 2 years ago and I’ve come very close tonot, it just hasn’t let me down.

Works great. Long distance feature definitely works. K band is set off by local grocery stores etc. But la laser is awesome. Saved me at least two tickets already. Open road/highway is awesome and a peace of mind
