Occasional traveler/ speed demon here. Uniden R3 is a useful tool on the highways. Curves, over the hills, laser and not knowing where its coming is a major problem for this product. so slowing down is a safe and smart thing to down.

Upgraded from the Passport 9500xi and I don't miss it at all. An extra feature that came with this detector is the ability to warn the driver of a speed camera ahead of time.
