      If the dashcam doesn't turn on, please follow these steps to troubleshoot.

      1. Confirm if the power supply of the car charger is always on. Plug it into the cigarette lighter. The light will flash if the supply is poor.
      2. Take out of the SD card, unplug all cables, and then take the dashcam indoors and charge it with a 5V/3A adapter and a MINI USB cable for an hour.
      3. Use a pin to reset the device directly. The reset hole is behind the camera.
      4. Unplug the rear camera kit to see if the front camera works well.

      Also, please check the USB port and the charging port. Is there anything unusual?

    It died on me a little more then a year after i purchased it. The mirror it self was a lot bigger than a regular rear view mirror, and interferes with my view while driving.

    The front facing camera works as it should, but the rear camera optics are bad it puts everything viewed behind at much greater distance then it is. I cannot see vehicles clearly unless they are actually less than 15 feet behind me, and they look like they are 40 or more feet away. I have to get it replaced

    It lasted 18 months and now its dead. Turns on, shows low battery and turns off.

      4. Does your cigarette lighter always has power even when the engine of the vehicle is off? You can check it by confirming if the indicator of the car charger is still on after the engine is off. Or do you use a hardwire kit to power on the dashcam?

    Worked good for almost a year. Stopped powering on after that. Thank goodness for the geek squad protection.

    Bought this for piece of mind. Driving now a day's has gotten a bit crazy. Though I do everything to stay safe. Some folks seem to do what they want on the road. This device takes away the ( my word against yours). With everything being recorded its a problem solver. Video recordings are clear and crisp.

    Broke after a year. The front camera just shows black now as if the camera died/burnt out. Stuck in parking mode also, can’t get to the settings menu etc. just all messed up now.

    Its cool just that the screen brightness goes up and down by itself and the camera be switching by itself from the rear camera to the front and to the saved viedes gona have to contact support to see why

    This mirror and dash cam and rearview cam was awesome until it wasn’t, lasted just over a year and then the power supply started did not work right and then they’re line started appearing on the mirror/screen itself. It would just turn on and then turn off and then turn on and then turn off and then turn on and then turn off

    Looks sturdy but I returned because it was too heavy for my Benz mirror and didn’t want to risk damaging my mirror. I did not get to use it.

    I got a new dash cam because my old one just stopped working. It was a cheap one I bought, but this time I wanted to spend extra on a good one. The set up was easy, however I did not hook up backup camera yet(The backup camera has a long wire you have to run to the back of the vehicle then have to hook it up to back up lights and that just seems like a long headache.) But the front camera view is awesome. Crisp smoother camera view and the touch screen is great! I can scroll to view footage from the screen and it is very easy to use and setup. SD card I bought for it supported it just fine. I have this in a truck that sits outside in the heat and have no issues with it being to hot to use. The only problem I have is the start up when a voice talks and says, "Welcome to Wantop." I think they should have used someone that can say the company name properly? This camera is well worth the price.

    Can not handle the hot temperature. Install 2 units in 2 cars. Working for about 1 month. Then The unit turn on and off by itself. Wiggle the USB cable sometimes work but finally off (after try all troubleshooting like check the cigarettes cable, reset button, take the unit out to connect to power source…)
