This is a really good quality mirror dash cam. I have a tiny front-facing dash cam but never owned a mirror dash cam. The touchscreen is very responsive. The 4K video shows great details especially you can read the numbers/alphabets on the car tags very clearly. I highly recommend this dash cam.

I purchased this for "other than intended use" in that I use it as a truck - trailer camera system as an upgrade to the Furrion 3 camera system between my pickup truck and travel trailer. I purchased the extra cables to run out to the back of the trailer where I mounted the second camera. When towing, I just unplug the truck rear camera, and plug in the cable for the trailer rear camera. The video quality is much better than the Furrion camera and display system, and is much more intuitive in that when I look in the rear view mirror, I see what is behind the trailer instead of the typical rear view mirror view of the front of the trailer. My setup includes an extra 30 ft of cable, and the system handles it no problem. The Pros are definitely the video quality. Cons are the tendency of starburst in the display during night driving from headlights, and distortion when water gets on the camera mounted by license plate. (This would of course be true of any camera based system). If you were really bothered by the night / rain issue, you could just power down and the display goes into mirror mode. However, if powered down, you would miss out on the additional features of GPS speed, time, day, date, and front and rear DVR capability. Another Con is that my firmware version doesn't understand daylight savings time so for part of the year the time in the display will be off by an hour. I talked to tech support and the DST feature was going to be corrected in newer firmware. All in all, I love the unit!

Previously I've dealt with different kind of dash cams. Most of them were cheap and had a bad quality of the video output compared to this. Also they were cheaply made and quit working a few months after use. I also had problems with them resetting the time and date and didn't want to record anything. Thus I was shopping for a new dash cam. To be honest I was scary to buy this mirror since I don't trust all in one things, but the specs and reviews were good so I decided to give it a shot. When I got it in my hands , unpacked and connected to my car I was impressed with the quality of the video. It was way above my expectations. So, if you are like me, and looking for a good dash cam, you can buy it without any hesitation. You won't regret.

I purchased this dash cam because I have such a hard time turning my neck at times , After my slip and fall injury.. so when I purchased this Dash cam, I was so amazed at how clear the picture quality was. and I'm very happy that it's a nice size so it can focus on the areas that I might not be able to see. I highly recommend this.

I have had my Vantop H612T4k Dashcam/rear mirror for over 9 months now and it is still as awesome as when I first got it. My first dash cam had a battery issue a couple of months ago but when I contacted VanTop they were super friendly and were willing to give me a replacement at no cost. The replacement came and I haven't had any issues. Customer Service is OUTSTANDING!

Cant get it out of chinese language. Very hard to install. Mirror falls fown about 6 inches if you hit a bump. I would have returned but husbNd threw bix away.

Great camera system I really like it. Take your time learn how do you set it up and use it properly. Learn how to save a video after an accident. Hardwiring it with the extra hard wire kit is your best option for ease-of-use. Get a high quality card!!

I can’t even imagine driving my car without one of these now! I can see so much better during the day and at night plus I have the peace of mind of recording what happens in case of an emergency. A must have for anyone in my book!

Quality of this dash cam is great. Video resolution is quite better and bright than other. works easily and price is also reasonable for me. now i can shoot video in 4k.

I have used dash cam before but after using this i think this one one is better. i recommend this to all. useful and good dash cam with high quality video.

It worked exactly as described and was simple to install. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with an older vehicle that wants a backup camera.

Not exactly as described. Rear camera is not a rear window camera (as I expected) it is a 'back-up' camera that attaches to the license plate frame.

Very good Dash camara and product, easy to install

Great tool to ensure safety and be less liable, additionally it helps provide evidence if anyone bumps into your vehicle while parked as it has a G-sensor. The only not even negative but feature i do not like is the fact that the videos are so short (up to six seconds per video)

My family love this dash cam! My husband said it was so easy to install. The resolution is absolutely amazing, the image quality is really day and evening. Everyone needs these cameras since accidents do happen specially during the winter. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I’ve bought two of these now, one for a gift. I love mine, and my mom loves hers. It’s so easy to set up and use, and being able to wire the rear camera to the reverse lights is one of the best features. I love that just shifting into reverse turns on my backup camera.

I needed one because I always hit in reverse. Its ok for reversing. Sometimes the touch screen freezes and cant edit or move cameras. During daytime, the camera looks dim on its brightest setting and can barely make whats going on behind you. Night time the front is nice but the rear Looks like an old 2005 DVD video. While the front at night is 1080p at best. Not true 4k. Dont know if video will look sharper when downloaded file to pc. But on the mirror it doesnt look as good as the trailer.

This dashcam is very good, with excellent video resolution and audio. Great value for the price! I love this dash cam compares to the one I previously owned. The video quality is good and many other functions of this Dashcam are awesome.

Vantop always has great and well constructed products. My experience with Vantop dashcams is always positive. I can no longer drive my car without a dashcam. Best dashcam so far.
