Since the day I bought it, it has never worked the way it’s supposed to. I payed for gps remote start and I always get an error for Bluetooth not working properly. I always have to get close to my car for the remote to start my car.

Great Unit!

Note to the wise, this is NOT a remote start nor is it a security system. This is a module that is ADDED to a Viper remote start or security system. Alone all it is capable of doing is tracking your vehicle. And a yearly subscription is required for it's use.

Save your money!

Both the app and the remote only work if I am within 20 feet of my car. I have to go outside, open my garage, and point directly at my car in order to start it. I cannot start it from inside my house, a store, or inside my office at work. At that point I might as well have saved the time and money and should just go outside and start it because this has not been beneficial to me in any way.
