I was in the market for a phone that was some what affordable that didn't carry a contract. My daughter bought the Samsung Galaxy J3 and loved it. It wasn't on the very cheap end, but it's much more affordable than the Galaxy S series and iPhones. I had been using an LG phone that was also in the same price range, but I found multitasking very poor, I was occasionally unable to receive texts while playing a game, surfing the internet or checking email. I've had the J3 for over a month now and I haven't lost a single text when gaming, surfing or checking email.

I purchased this phone for my teen son because he dropped and cracked his HTC. I am impressed with the quality of this phone. Great features and I choose a pay as you go plan for him. I am satisfied.

This phone has been great, I use it at work and it gets beat on pretty hard. have had no issues. Has plenty of memory and processing power to run all the apps I use it for. Great economic phone!

The phone looks nice but I expected it to have more features than it has. My old phone had more features and it cost less. its kind of hard for me to recommend this phone at this particular time!

Great size and weight. Transferred my number from old LG phone with Virgin Mobile carrier. Best Buy representative (TYLER) set me up, topped me up and had me all set in less than 30 minutes.

It's a good phone for the price. It does everything I need it to. Looks good. Not outdated. I've had it for a few weeks and I am enjoying it. It is a good option if you don't want to spend $600 or $700 on an Iphone or Samsung Galaxy S6.

I purchased this phone at the suggestion of my teen age daughter. I like the fact that it has much more storage capacity than my previous phone. The screen is large and the phone is slim and fits easily into my pocket. I'm happy to see so many apps on the home screen. I really like this phone!

My daughter loves this phone. She cares more about streaming shows through wifi than actually talking or texting on it, which is why she loves the big clear picture. It also has some great features that Samsung phones have over other brands. Highly recommended whatever your priorities are.

I use this phone for talk, text, and surfing the net. First Samsung phone. Very happy with it. What me on phone was price. Best Buy had it on sale for $49.00. 16gb. Old phone was LG great phone, 8gb memory. Always low on memory. This was my second LG. phones now a day. Need at least 16gb.

I really like this phone.It is very easy on the eye, also it works very well when it comes to texting. I do not get any dropped calls.It is also very convenient when it comes to retrieving it in my purse or pocket.All and all I really enjoy the phone, and it looks good.It is of good quality.

With my first smartphone, I quickly came to understand the difficulties imposed by limited memory. This phone was available at a great price with more than ample/sufficient memory; accordingly, it has been a terrific device with which I have had not a bit of trouble. Highly recommended!

Purchased this for my 12 year old so he could have a phone with more memory. It was a good price for what you get and the Virgin plan is a great deal for unlimited talk, text and data.

I didn't know what expect from this phone except from what I read in the reviews which were mixed with positive and negative reviews. So far I've had this phone since july and it's worked great. I haven't had any problems so far. I like it! The calls are clear and pictures come out fine.

My son bought this phone after Christmas for only $50! It has 16GB of memory so now he can download apps and play games without getting storage errors. I've heard no complaints.

I had been disappointed with my previous phone purchases on the Virgin Mobile network, three in the past five - six years. The Samsung Galaxy has proved during the time I've had it that it is superior to the HTC and LG phones particularly with its memory and regular updates received.

There just so happens to be a great price on the Samsung J3 when I was shopping for a new phone for my daughter. I couldn't pass it up. And so far it's made her very happy.

This phone replaced an old cell phone that had a screen so small I couldn't read messages or names. This phone has a great screen that I can read and has features that I'll never know how to use. Wanted the ability to also take quality photos and it it quite capable.

There is something wrong with receiving MMS converting to a photo even the smallest item like a contact info will not download you just get a download icon but never open

This phone was a big upgrade from my old phone. Processes internet well, and is relatively easy to use. Installing a 16gb mini sd card was simple. I don't really use the camera, so I can't really comment on that.
