Horrible Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You cannot edit videos, pictures are horrible. Don't Buy!! It uses a lot of data very quickly. This is the worst phone to buy. Plus the Samsung rep wouldn't even let us look/touch at the phone, to see if this was the type of phone we wanted. We were told we had to buy it first. Horrible. Spend your money on a better phone. Spend your money on an iPhone even an LG. The reviews did not do this phone justice.

Good value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone as an upgrade to my previous phone, and it is. The price I actually paid was amazing(after Christmas sale, plus I had a giftcard). It's large but thin, it's relatively fast, sound quality is decent, and increased RAM size and internal memory are really what sold me on it. One thing that is bugging me though, is that the front keys on the bottom don't light up! Other than that, I don't have any complaints, as of yet.

I dont like this phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Galaxy S III and i loved that phone. I had to replace it and they had this instead. The camera is not as good. The memory cash isn't as good. The only thing i like about this phone is the ultra power save mode and i would trade that in for an SIII anyday

Only 16gb phone for > $200
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom line is that it's below $200 and comes with 16gb internal storage and 1.5gb ram. The quad core 1.2ghz snapdragon ought to be called the Android standard transmission because it's the most common processor low end phones. Needless to say moving through screens is very speedy. TouchWiz has really shrank and become pretty quick. 10gb of the internal storage is available to the user for app storage and the device supports 128gb sd card for your media. Now whats unique about the J3 is that in comes with MS OFFICE partially pre-installed. By that I mean MS Word is all the way installed and takes up 200mb, the remaing 5 office icons take up no internal storage unless they are updated through the play store. You can disable them all if you have no need for office. Whats Awesome is that many Amazon services are pre-installed, including the Amazon app store, music and Instant video which is great for amazon prime members. Even if your not a prime member you can rent new releases for $3 to $5. The device works great with Chromecast and the FireTv stick. So there is very little to complain about other than the Samsung bloatware which is minimal in this iteration. It's a 5 inch screen so it fits perfectly in the pocket. I tested 4 high end games and they all played with minimal frame drop.

Unhappy with product unless I get it unlock
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bad thing is, it is not a prepaid phone it only works with monthly payment scheme $35 or $45 monthly, which is a pay as you go phone. I can not get it unlock to use with other net work which is bad thing. I am not using it as a phone due to above.

Bad GPS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned this due to very poor GPS which I need for hobnobbing around San Francisco by public transport. Sometimes, the GPS would simply not work at all in Google Maps. A short delay is fine, but to not work at all? No, not good enough.

It was not worth the purchase!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had so many problems with it. I've even went back to best buy for help & the cell phone department said it was nothing they could do. I feel the laziness of staff they didn't wanna be bothered.

Awesome Phone for an Amazing Price!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from the HTC Desire 926 and caught this phone on the black friday deal. I am one happy camper. Huge upgrade! I will never purchase another HTC phone. The first one stopped working after exactly 1 week. It just shut off and never came back on. They let me exchange it for another one even though i didnt purchase the protection plan. The 2nd one kept freezing and rebooting itself for no reason. Needless to say the J3 was a breath of fresh air! Love the big screen and the 16gb of memory as opposed to 8. I didn't think I was going to like the gold color, but I'm actually pretty fond of it. It makes it look expensive! :-) and the case i bought for it is a rose gold pink that compliments it very well. Love that it has word and excel. Not sure ill use it, but i like it! Its nice and speedy on downloads, and the camera is pretty good too. I highly recommend this phone for virgin users. Its by far the best value at the moment!
