I purchased this phone yesterday after my LG Tribute gave out. I hated that that one had very little memory and loved that this one has 16 gigs. However, I will seek another option because I have a little one and love taking photos of him every sec of the day and they come out very poorly. The imiges look foggy, become grainy with even a bit of zooming, and most movement (even slow one) comes out blurry.

screen cracked under glass best buy wont do anything about it and Samsung wants more to fix than I payed for it

Kind of weird how you have to get to the apps and how you view your email. Not a strong antenna.

Horrible device with horrible service. Better off buying a metro pcs phone and service.

The phone for 7 days. That was it screen pink grey and black never again.

For last few months loved it,NOW SCREEN 3/4 BLACKOUT FOR NO REASON!

I originally purchased the Samsung Galaxy S4. Took it back to the store because there was a crack under the screen. They didn't have anymore in stock, nor did they have the S5 and I didn't want to spend alot of money on purchasing the S6 so the BestBuy rep told me to check out the J3 (that just came out). I was very leary. I looked at it and it looked like the regular Samsung Galaxy "S" phones and I said how does it compare to the "S" phones and she said it's a cross between the S4 and S5 with the S6 screen. So I purchased it for $149!!!! I even received credit back because the S4 was $240. I absolutely love this phone!!!!! It's working great, takes great pictures and the picture quality is great. Love watching movies on the big screen. I really don't have any complaints yet and I've had the phone for a week. I ordered some cases from Amazon (alot to choose from). Love the size, the phone is gold in color, which makes it look expensive (without spending alot of money). In closing my review I will say that this phone is GREAT and the price was RIGHT!!!

I came from a Note 4 before this phone and had to find a phone quickly as mine couldn't be used on a carrier and I was traveling north for work when I cam across the J3. Honestly there aren't too many differences from my note and this. The j3 operates very smoothley....basically Samsung just gave it a lower quality camera, which accounts for the prices and a smaller body compared to what people want lately but still has a great processor. I like it so much I'm actually considering buying one for the bf and brother too. I just use my old note for the camera..

I had the LG G Stylo for about a week excellent phone as well but i noticed that virgin mobile had the slower model with 1gb of ram which was not really as good to navigate as i use my phone for data mostly so i came across this phone and did my research and was very pleased with its specs i purchased the phone yesterday and the performance is top notch i recommended to anyone to buy this phone even though the camera is 5mp which i think should have been 8mp rear camera its still a best buy.

My old (3-4 yrs old) Virgin Mobile LG something or other became virtually unusable so I broke down and got the Samsung Galaxy J3 last Saturday on sale. It makes my old LG look like a "dumb" phone. I really like it so far, it's fast, easy to use - it's almost like a mini tablet. Can't beat the features for the price!

The J3 was a replacement for my S3. The overall quality is not equal to the S3. Several minor software/firmware shortfalls annoy me (no vibration feedback when touching the screen, no direct dial icons for individual numbers, the screens don't wrap around when you reach the end of the set, etc.). A major hardware shortcoming is the poor audio through the headphone jack. I use my phone as input into the aux jack in my car and home stereo systems. The audio suffers from dynamic compression (no compressor is being used), the frequency response seems non-flat, the output easily distorts, and worst of all, the power jack has no filtering whatsoever. If the device is plugged in to a car accessory power outlet, the noise from the phone audio output is horrendous. This is true for any app that uses audio, such as Google Map navigation. You must run the phone from the battery to avoid the problem. Higher priced phones do not suffer this issue. This phone does not work with several compass apps that work with the S3, leading me to suspect other hardware differences between the two. The phone is ok for the price, but the savings come from sacrificing features such as power supply filtering, audio circuit quality, a well-designed interface, and overall build quality. A decent (average) value, which is why I give it an average rating. I'm taking it back and spending more for a better phone.

I was on a lg tribute 2 and I decide for a upgrade to A Samsung j3 6 phone . I have no problem with the new phone it so awesome it one of my best phones that virgin mobile had make it was so cheap so I got it and I love e dry thing about the new Samsung phine it work great has everything in it . It so awesome . I love the battery life it the faster from the other phones I had

I bought this today, it's a really great phone! Only thing I don't like is the camera... I use my old phone for that. I like this phone so far, if anything else comes up, I'll make sure to edit my review.

I wish this phone would stop calling people while I'm on the phone. I like the camera and the storage better than the other phones I purchased. I liked the phone just fine until it started calling people and hanging up to answer incoming calls on it's own while I am still talking to someone else. I wouldn't recommend this phone because of that and it's to late for me to return it :(

I had to replace my htc desire because I have had it for 1 year and a half and it started to act up so I decided to buy this Samsung galaxy j3 and wow its awesome and big upgrade the only thing is the camera does much better outside then inside but still takes far pictures. I have Ben a virgin mobile customer for a long time now and this is so far the best phone they have made and it's affordable and so much storage space then the HTC.

Item was on sale & proved to be well worth the sale price....easy to learn how to use, charges quickly, stays charged longer than my previous (LG) phone.

Hasn't been a month yet but no complaints. Easy to set up. My daughter loves it. Wish it wouldn't came in black, white or her favorite color purple. Got a case for it so the color really didn't matter after that. She stays on the phone but what girl doesn't. Thanks best buy. I recommend this product.

This phone is a great upgrade from my LG2. It's fairly easy to use & has alot more storage than my LG had! & The price was right!! The only thing I wish was better, is the camera. Picture quality isn't great & I was really hoping for that, but that's about the only down fall for now.
