Although we still don't have the TV delivered yet (should be by Dec. 24), my sister and I spend quite some hours inspecting it and determining if it'll be a good TV. Will possibly update once received.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are looking for build in cast and ready to have it with only 1080p, if you satisfied with presorted images collection that will be fed to you with not so good quality (yep they still are 1080p in 4k screen) and the only 4K you can get is 1 HDMI out of 4 than it is your choice - good enough picture quality, good looking, active zone back-light.

All HDMI ports on this display are capable of display up to 2160p@60Hz. As for casting 4K content, you can cast 2160p content through YouTube, Netflix, and VUDU.

A fact that 5 sales guys did not let us now. The picture quality was phenomenal and the sound was great too. We took it back because we do not have cable and could not watch tv through our antenna which has a plethora of 1080p channels for free.

In order to achieve the best picture quality and to take advantage of the 4K Ultra HD technology, it is recommended to use the HDMI connections. Most high definition cable or satellite boxes have an HDMI output. If using the coaxial cable is a must, there are external turners that can be purchased.We realize this is brand new technology and it takes some time to get used to it. In my experience you get what you pay for. I am pleasantly surprised. Picture is great and the customization is amazing. I read a lot of reviews of people who have issues with the SmartCast. I have had no issues at all. Works great with my iPhone 7, and my wife's iPhone 6.

The only issue I have with the television is it needed to come with a more detailed instruction book. There was very little documentation on smart cast and Google cast included with the television. Other than that all is great!

I DO THINK it needs a sound bar however..to keep music and talking at the same level. When watching shows the music plays alot louder than the characters talk..
