||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV does not have built-in apps, and Chromecast is not compatible with a wide variety of apps, including Amazon Video. This is actually just a big computer monitor that only works with Google Play steaming from from iOS or Android Devices. It does not come with a real remote control. You cannot access apps from the remote; you have to use your phone or tablet for everything. It is also not compatible with Windows computers, so I am not able to stream from my laptop. I wish I would have purchase a real smart TV that has apps loaded onto it with WiFi capabilities.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. SmartCast devices are compatible with over a thousand applications that work with cast like Netflix and Youtube. You can also stream a chrome tab or your your computer desktop from the chromecast extension in the chrome browser. We do have a full line of HDTV's including TV's that have apps built-in.

The Google Cast ability is great especially since I have also a Samsung in a another room that has built in apps that are buggy. Set-up is easy for the set too! The only issue I have is that the sound tends to be low; you will need a sound bar.
