Was shopping for a new TV, the price was too good to be true. I never purchase a Vizio before so I went to look at the reviews, they were mixed. So I decide to take the plunge, man o man that was a mistake. I hooked up the TV as any normal TV, set it up and then come the headaches. I downloaded the APP and also set up the WI-FI to use “SmartCast” app. After many attempts it just didn’t sync. So I decide to set up the rest of my equipment. After I was done, I decide to watch a little bit of TV, turn it on and saw the beautiful big screen light up, but a few minutes later the TV shut off and turns on by itself. I never saw any TV do this before; I made sure that my APC backup surge protector wasn’t malfunction. Everything seemed to check out, so I reset my cable box and then finally sat down again to watch TV. After a few minutes the TV again shuts off and turns back on. Now I’m annoyed, I’m looking online and in the manual to see if this is a common issue. Didn’t see anything in the manual but I did see lots online, so at this point I decide to call the 1-800 number and someone at customer service told me that sometimes this happens, they test the TV’s and forget to take them out of test mode. I had to do I power cycle, so I followed the steps, and then turn on the TV, few minutes passes by and it stayed on. Continued to watch TV and about the one hour mark, the TV shut it-self off and turned on. So I did the power cycle again, it seemed to work at that point (after another 1 hour watching). The next day I turned it on and after 5 minutes it being on, the same problem occurred. So I called customer service and told them that I called yesterday, and they assured me that I needed to do the power cycle again. So I did it and it worked for about an hour or so, after that it did it again. I called for the third time and this person said that sometime TV’s do that, so either I have to do power cycle on the TV every time I use it or just replace it with another until it resolves the issues. Really, no way, sent it back and picked up a Samsung, and guess what? I turn it on and it stayed on, sync the WI-FI and my phones and tables with no issue. Lesson Learned, go with what you are familiar with, Never again I will ever buy anything from Vizio.

We bought this tv when we went to pick up our desktop and printer in the store. It's huge. Simple to hook up. Amazing picture.

The picture looks great the sound lacks bass but on these flats screens it's to expected. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one

We haven't had a new tv in at least 13 years. Needless to say they've changed greatly. I was worried about setup, hookup, connection, etc. Much to my surprise I found it quite easy and my worry wasn't necessary. Vizio product is lovely. We didn't want to spend a fortune, just something nice and new. It's been all of that, with no problem. So easy I actually then ordered the sound bar....feeling accomplished.

This is a good 4K display especially for the price. The controls are a bit non intuitive -- it would be helpful if the instruction booklet had more detail. It was easy to set up and not difficult to handle as it not very heavy.

We were looking to upgrade the tv in our family room and chose this tv. It is perfect. Good picture, good sound and looks good.

The picture is awesome but you basically have to use your phone as a remote which sucks especially if you need to use your phone

Great product, great price! If you're using a satellite box, purchasing a display is a great way to save! We connected the display to Direct TV's tuner via hdmi cable and unit worked great right out of the box. We own a small sports bar and will definitely purchase more in the future.

Upgraded from a plasma 42" to this TV, and it lives up to the great reviews I've seen. The only thing I didn't notice was that it was chrome cast. There are no apps built in as I thought and you have to use a compatible smart device and send whatever you're watching to the TV.

I bought this to replace my old Samsung 42" and while the price and size on the Vizio are great, it has a little trouble with staying true to color. My Samsung offers better color support, but it's not 4K so I am still happy with the upgrade. Just something to think about.

I love this TV it's easy to use!! The apps are easy to use and it was very easy to hook up to my Wireless surround sound.

I'm so happy with this tv. I purchased it a little over a month ago and it works as well as tvs that are twice the price!

Vizio has not let me down yet. This is the second TV that I have purchased from them. Great price and tremendous value!

Although I read the ad and the reviews I failed to notice that it was a "display" and not a TV. So when I got it home II was surprised and a little aggravated. However I had a tuner already so I hooked it up along with all of my other gadgets and it works wonderfully.

Good TV for the price. I went in the store wanting to buy a Samsung but left with the Vizio....better picture by far!

Was in the market for a 40 inch and somehow the rep talked me into buying a 55 inch... Thanks Best Buy

I went to best buy to look around and I end up buying this tv. I love it going to keep this and uograde to a 70 inch

This is a great tv... it took me a minute to figure out the smart part of the tv, but it is awesome
