Cables are cumbersome to attach. Second the display is a bit dull but that could be at&t UVERSE. Overall it is a very decent TV for size UHD and price

When I looked on-line I saw this one for about the same price as the 40". My son-in-law had just bought a Vizio 4KHD and the picture was fantastic. So I decided to try this one, which was bigger than I had planned. The picture is great and I like having the bigger screen size especially for watching sports.

The app is very frustrating. The only good thing about the provided content is the live streams but even those are lacking. Unlike previous vizio tv's I owned, the tv is not preloaded with apps such as Netflix and YouTube. You have to download those on to your phone and cast them from there which is annoying when you're not trying to take up a lot of space on your phone. I used to use my old tv to plug in an external hard drive and watch movies from there. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong but the tv does not recognize the hard drive. All in all, I wouldn't buy this tv again.

The idea behind the SmartCast feature is to allow users to control all of their devices from the conveinance of one remote (Your smartphone/tablet). Applications such as Netflix, YouTube and such are still available, and now have the added benefit of always remaining up to date as they're on your mobile device.
