Some of the factors that affect picture quality are ambient lighting, such as lamps and sunlight, and personal preference can make a big difference. This is why we include several preset picture modes that are fully customizable through the SmartCast Application. This Display is a Smart Display but not in the traditional sense. Traditional Smart TV's have built in applications. VIZIO SmartCast with Chromecast Built-in allows our customers access to thousands of cast capable application including Netflix, Plex, YouTube, Hulu, and most major networks. You can also cast content directly from your computers chrome browser instead of your mobile device or tablet.

However, the OS does not warn you if someone wants to cast to your TV and just takes it over. Not really a "Smart" TV. its a Smart Cast TV

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not really happy with this tv the remote is to simple I do not like the fact that you have to do everything on the tv including the settings on the app on another device the settings should at least be on the tv remote. The speaker on the tv is awful you have to have the volume up really high to hear it and the quality of the speaker is horrible. We had to purchase a sound bar which we were not anticipating to purchase but I think that's why they made the tv speaker so bad so you have to purchase the sound bar

I have streamed ultra on Netflix and BlueRay seems about DVD quality on the set.

It works well, but it is not as good as a top of the line 1080p. I would recommend this for a room that is not your main tv experience area.
