    TV didn't work right. I bought it as an "open box." TV was not on while on display, but I was assured that it was in working order. Techs didn't even have a screwdriver with which to unmount it. When I got it home and turned it on, I saw that it only had about a 20° viewing angle, and that one side was brighter the other. When I returned it, the person working the customer service center acted like she thought I was lying when I told her that the TV didn't have a box, or remote, or that Android tablet when I bought it. Then, she made me go all the way home to retrieve the power cord before she would initiate the return.

    No remote, have to use phone. Horrible to do. Should have regular remote. Picture is okay, sound is okay, but remote is an issue that ruins the experience.

The SmartCast App turns your phone or tablet into a powerful remote that can access the advanced settings of the display to fine tune them to your personal preference.     Turned out I wanted a bigger screen. Plus, I wasn't sold on its version of HDR and whether it was ok. Eventually got a bigger screen with more features.

    We really do not like the remote as it is very small and is not user friendly the app that you need to put on your smart phone is very frustrating.

    Buyers Remorse

    Had the tv for 14 days and it went out completely. Called Vizio and they said they dont repair that model. I could get a new tv in 3-4 weeks or 'maybe' get a refund in 4-6 weeks. We took it back to Best Buy and upgraded to a Samsung. Ill never buy another Vizio product. By the way, when we took the tv back we saw another exact model we had also had been returned.

    very poor picture and low volume, tv is a nice size but I cannot program my cable remote to work

      Thank you for your feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you saw in the store. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

    The picture on this tv is fine as long as you are sitting right in front of it. Any degree to the side and picture becomes faded.

    Returned it for a Sony

    The picture on the Vizio 55" is horrible when viewing at even a slight angle. Fortunately I was able to return the Vizio and purchase a Sony 55". I purchased the Vizio on line and should have gone to the store. The Best Buy employee helped identify why the angle view is much better on the 2016 Sonys. The Sony is as clear at an angle as it is straight on.

    Unable to view at an angle.

    The picture on the Vizio 55" 4K Ultra Smart TV with Chromecast built in was only good when looking straight at the picture. The angle views were grey coated and not sharp at all. I purchased online and the comps with others looked to be in line with other brands. You get what you pay for and I decided to return the Vizio for a brand that you could see a quality picture at any angle.

    Got this tv due to the reviews, but I'm not very happy with my purchase, color are not what expected.

    Hard to operate

    Bought it to watch Netflix and cable from a coax connection. To watch Netflix you have to cast it from a phone or some other device. There is no just watching it through the TV. The casting did not work from an iPhone or an ipad. There was no way to connect a coax for cable. So after fighting with the casting for a few hours I took it back.

This means that any VIZIO SmartCast™ device can be controlled using most smartphones and tablets. Some VIZIO home theater displays no longer include connection for a coaxial cord. We do include a complimentary HDMI cable to provide a higher resolution image from your cable or satellite box.     Got this TV during Black Friday but after 3 months half the screen was darker than the other half. Got it replaced by Vizio no problem. But now the replacement TV is having the same issue. I am a bit disappointed in Vizio. I have have another TV manufactured by Vizio that lasted a long time. I would just avoid this model .

    I gave this TV to my mom as a gift and literally 2 weeks to the day of giving it to her it stopped working. The sound still worked but the screen went black. Read some reviews and apparently this brand has a lot of issues. Stay away from VIZIO!

    Thee worse TV I have ever had in a home!! Vizio needs to get away from the whole "entertainment system" and back to regular TVs, and the whole having to use your smartphone for a remote is the worst idea ever, stay away from it!!

    Returned. I didnt like smart cast-ing. I doesnt have very many tv options for viewing. (Brightness, picture size chgs, lacked menu items) The remote has very little options to control the tv.

    I returned this TV because I was going to put it in a vacation rental cabin, I discovered it required the viewer to have a cell phone with the Vizio app. this is not practical by any means.
