    Clear crisp picture even with an antenna. The only drawback would be if I had cable because there is no coaxial connection.

    Defective & Poor Customer Service

    Purchased product and started having sound issues. Contracted Vizio customer service, they had me do some troubleshooting several times, finally i contacted my cable company to have them come out and test all their lines and equipment (twice) and everything checked out. Explained to Vizio customer service all the troubleshooting i went through (new coax/HDMI cables, hooked directly from box to TV (took home theater system out of the loop), hooked TV up to a different outlet, hooked TV up to a different box) and the only common factor/occurrence was the same sound issue I initially reported. The last response i rec'd from their wonderful customer service after even after i provided in much more detail everything i went through to troubleshoot this was "how do you know the problem is with the TV" so based of that as well as the run around i have been getting i would NOT recommend this product or any Vizio product unless you are using hope as a strategy.

    No smart functionality. All smart functions have to be streamed from your phone to the tv. No built in apps. Connection between tv and phone has to be set up every time I want to use it. I have to enter WiFi password and pair to phone every time. Super annoying. Why can it not remember the pairing like every other device I own? Remote sucks. Just a cheap tv.

      Thank you for your feedback. Just a note to help you, the SmartCast App is only needed to adjust display settings or to use the remote functionalities without the basic remote. All applications can be cast separately and the phone doesn't need to be paired to cast. VIZIO

    This TV is not bad. You have to use a smartphone or tablet to access apps, which I think is complete BS. Pros: Cheap, Good picture quality. Cons. The HDMI is hard to access, have to use a Smart phone or tablet. Did I mention you have to use a smart phone or tablet?

    Great TV, terrible SmartTV

    + the TV looks great - the Vizio SmartCast app is *required*. The physical remote provided is a joke - The SmartCast app will be spying on you by default, don't forget to turn this off in settings. If the smartcast system was optional, I would have no qualms with this TV. Making it compulsory was a bad move Vizio. Setting the TV up with it wasn't hard for me, but I can only imagine the frustration from the more tech-challenged folks. I got this TV on sale, and am happy with it as a TV. I definitely won't be using the stupid SmartCast functionality though.

    Good Picture and Price but Terrible Functionality

    I purchased this TV because I have another Vizio that I love. After setting it up, I realized that the remote was basically useless and you have to rely on your phone to use your TV. It's a good idea in theory, but not when the TV and phone never sync, give you errors, takes forever to turn the TV on and is just all around stressful. I did love the picture on this TV, but could not get over the horrible remote. I traded this TV for the Samsung 55" Ultra HD and couldn't be happier.

    Vizio-don't stand behind there products

    I am researching new 55 inch tvs and am reading the reviews for the Vizio E series and they aren't good especially the service. Unfortunately, this happened with my current Vizio tv. A year and a half after I purchased it the sensor on the tv for the remote stopped working. After numerous calls and emails to Vizio they simply said we can fix it for over 300 dollars. Not really worth it when you can buy a new tv for 500. Disappointed that Vizio doesn't stand behind their products

    Set up was no different than other tvs I've purchased, however, I soon realized the tv functionality is limited, the app is in its elementary stages...needs much more development, and i though the concept of the tv remote was good until I used it and disliked the lag. I also didn't appreciate that although it is a smart tv, apps cannot be downloaded much less launched from the television itself. I had another vizo 4K which I loved but this tv is not what I expected at all. DO NOT PURCHASE this television. I will be returning this television and getting a different brand.

    Glorified Monitor

    They call this a smart TV, but it cannot receive over the air signals without some separate box. It can not play Netflix without a separate box. It can not even be used without a tablet or smartphone which is an iphone/ipad or android. Your choices of streamed TV shows are limited to paid Vudu or Hulu. When you see anything labeled 'Chromecast' this is what you get. I wish I would have taken more time to research this.

    Worst tv ive ever owned. Power core went out the same day as the warranty. Imagine that. Dont ever buy Vizio brand, for your own sake.

    Do not buy Throw away TV Made to last 1 year

    Many manufactures defects that Visio will not acknowledge these TVs are meant to last for less than a year and he can't repair them or by parts to fix any issues they're made to throw away in the garbage after you purchase it's a waste of money

    I generally don't post reviews positive or negative, but trust me on this, do not buy this tv, it's a peice of junk. Spring the extra couple hundred for a Sony or Samsung, well worth it.
