Ok guys I went thru craziness trying to get a TV I couldnt find the right one first I tried to save money got a westinghouse 4k wow huge mistake.. Then I went to a Samsung Curved TV Motion wasnt that good at all it had a lil judder to it drove me Nuts and Color was so so... Then I exchanged for a Sony 810C the Same thing it had a judder Now My setting I like to turn on the motion full on smooth I like the Soap Opera effect so The Judder was Very apparent If you dont watrch your picture like that then no big deal for you sony had good color but then I went and echanged for the Vizio 65 inch M-series it was a lil dark but then I figured out just a couple easy settings to make it Bright and pop and it is so clear WAAAAAY MORE Clear then samsung or sony hard to explain its such a polished image and the motion 240HZ Unreal not 1 single lil judder or skip it is so smooth perfect so Then i said heck with it im jumping up to the 70 inch now im not sure why this is but the 70 inch picture is even better than the 65 truly I have no idea why that is but this TV Is Perfect trust me guys as you can see I went thru some TV's and I got to give Best Buy a Huge thank you if they would have not let me have the unconditiol gurantee I would have never found the perfect TV the staff was great at letting me find the perfect TV I will never ever buy anything other than Vizio now Ive had SAmsung and Sony for years this TV is that good im so picky so Go For this TV trust me dont hesistate Now it might come out a tad Dark out of the box easy just turn off Auto brightness put it on Standard and then turn your brightness down to 45 or even 40 and you have the ultimate picture I just cant say enough on this tv .. and the price look at the Price for this 70 Inch 4k I would but this tv id easily pay 3k and more fot it over another 3k tv period.. Anyway just wanted to express in the review cause during past month I read hundreds of them trying to find the right one dont hesitate be confident in this tv just make those couple small adjustments and boom perfection .. Thank you Best Buy I will buy my TV's from you for years to come and it will always be Vizio . I also had 4 salesman tell me not to go with Vizio I wish I would have never listened and just went with it I would have found the perfect TV Sooner But I think its just certain sales guys sell certain brands meaning some guys are sony reps some are samsung reps ect.. So trust me just go with it you will be stoked thank you everyone and best buy!

I'm writing this review with mixed emotions, I've bought this TV in Nov 2015. This TV had great user views, CNET recommended it highly. Great Picture everything I wanted, great price for a 70" 4K TV. It worked great all the features I needed with a truly stunning picture. Well it was perfect until 1/22/16, came home from work turned on the TV to watch the news and nothing except audio, the screen was totally black no picture, screen was dead. Called VIZIO and their tech support confirmed it is a dead screen. Tried the power reset which didn't make any difference, also the TV was cycling power by itself so something major happened. The VIZIO tech support was very helpful in troubleshooting the issue which I knew anyway that the screen was dead. So VIZIO is sending me a new replacement TV, they claimed 5-7 business days so we'll see. The TV will be a refurbished unit from the factory, which I don't care as long as it works and doesn't go dead in two months. I really hope no one else has this problem luckily I have another TV to use however it's not a stunning 4K picture. I really hope I didn't make a mistake buying a Vizio, I'll give them a chance to keep me a happy customer. I know things happen so I'll wait and see.

Incredible 4k Display but watch out for

After reading every possible online review about this 70 inch Vizio tv, I finally decided to replace my Sharp 70 in 1080p tv, that to be honest was never very good picture quality wise, and the menus were so confusing to use. The Vizio M Series is really incredible. 1080p cable looks so incredible, its like looking through a window! I watched a 2160p 4k episode of Breaking Bad on Netflix and it was astonishing. Keep in mind Netflix requires an account upgrade to 11.99 per month and a fast internet connection to view 4k video streams, not very intuitive to figure out. Also, be aware the Vizio has a weird stand that requires a very wide table to set it on, 54 inches minimum if you do not mount it. The remote is cool with a keyboard on the back but its weird that the keyboard side is backlit but the regular remote side is not. The onscreen menus are clear and easy to use, a huge upgrade from my previous 70 inch TV. The local dimming feature works perfectly producing true blacks, and no light bleed around the edges because its not edge lit obviously. Honestly the picture quality, brightness, and built in apps are incredible. I couldnt be more pleased with this awesome TV. Get one you wont regret it, its that good!

    Vizio U4K 70" M - Series

Outstanding picture quality with brilliant colors along with a crystal clear picture. This is due to just how black they can make the blacks which gives you all those advantages. With this television having a refresh rate of 720, while most others have rates of 60, to 120 and 240, any fast motion is without a blurring effect. Sound on todays TV's are sadly lacking, and for a good reason. As TVs become more and more about screen area and to be as thin as possible built-in speakers no longer are large enough to produce good sound, all flat screen televisions made require a Sound Bar or a Home Stereo w/Surround. I took our Denon Stereo/Receiver out and went with a Blutooth 7.1 Sound Bar with wireless satellite speakers, worth a bit more to not have to run hidden wires.

This is my first Vizio TV and it will be my last. In less than 14 months the TV developed a horizontal line all the way across the bottom. Called Vizio and they said their TV's are only good for one year. Called Best Buy and they pretty much said the same thing, and there is no repair. Just toss in the trash and buy another one. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Vizio products. #viziotrash

1st time Vizio buyer and very happy with the Vizio M70-C3 4K TV. This is coming from a past Sony or Samsung fan. I have always been the early adopter with tech toys, first with 1080p and now 4K is good advancement for clarity and picture quality. Out of all the 4K choices below $2000, it has Full Array LED Technology vs same priced Back-Lit or Edge Lit, that is a huge difference. Vizio is solid in this 4K game and I can confidently say this after testing the M70 for the past 3 months. No issues, amazing picture quality! Vizio 4K for the win!

We were thrilled to purchase this television our master bedroom. We used it a few hours a night before going to bed. The picture died last month. No where near the expected life for a $2000 television. Seems this model has had many issues. We won't be buying Vizio again.

The best 70" 4K TV out there!

I bought this Vizio 70" TV from Costco for $1700 when it was on sale last week. Very impressive with it so far after playing with it for the last few days. The picture quality is absolutely stunningly clear. No jerk or pause when watching sports, football or tennis, its 6 core processor must be doing its job! My previous 65" LG TV had problem handling fast motion, but this Vizio has absolutely no trouble at all. Pop in Penguins of the Madagascar, or Despicable Me Blu-Ray disc, the picture is so good, it makes you wonder if picture quality could get any better than that, be it at 5" or 15 feet distance. I find the factory default picture setting to be a little bit too bright, so I tuned the setting using the THX Tune Up app. After fine tuned for a few hours, this setting provides the best and natural skin tone for me: Picture Mode: Auto Brightness Control: Off Backlight: 77 Brightness: 41 Contrast: 48 Color: 63 Tint: 0 Sharpness: 30 The sound quality is also good for me, I think some of you have problem with the sound quality is you probably have it at Volume Leveling OFF, turn it ON, the difference is night and day, the sound is clear and crisp. Its stereo speakers cover almost the entire width of the TV at the bottom. I would say it is almost as good as some of the sound bars out there. I have a high end home theater system, and I don't mind watch some movies using just this TV sound alone when I try not to bother/rock the neighbors with my home theater system. Another positive surprise is I can get rid of my Chromecast, iPhone's Youtube can stream directly to this TV. There might not be a lot of 4K content out there yet, but 4K contents only make this baby more impressive. This TV worths every penny, get it! Plus, Vizio is a USA company in California, it is good to see a US TV company is catching up and surpassing the quality of foreign companies.

Bought this TV last week and I gotta say it's been the best set ive purchased so far. I used custom calibration settings recommended on CNET and the picture is aweseome! Game play on XBox one is ridonkulous! My Halo 5 game improved dramatically! Definitely worth purchasing. And it costs way less than the competitors!

First I applaud Best Buy for great customer service. Delivered my new M70-c3 in the morning only to find the unit broken, likely damage in shipping. Best Buy had a new delivered within four hours. when I turned it on I expected a not so great picture and I had my calibration settings from internet searches ready to go. When the picture came up both my wife and I both exclaimed WOW, couldn't believe how good the picture was out of the box. Almost afraid to try different settings its so good.

I purchased this TV a week before Christmas and have not regretted it in the least. It was easy to set up as most reviews that I read pointed out. The picture is top notch and everything looks great on it (movies, video games, sports) The only thing I am remotely disappointed in is the remote. Vizio needs to re-think that one. The face is not back lit and it really needs to be. Other than that this is a great product that I would recommend to anyone in the market for a big screen 4K set. Great purchase!

Good TV, Despite Some Bad Reviews

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

First off - I would like to say that some people will get a lemon. I know some folks who bought Samsung only to have it dead right out of the box. And an LG that put in about a month of use, then basically exploded. So, that's what warranties are for - and I recommend buying the Best Buy Protection Plan no matter what brand you get, period. Now for this TV - 70 " of beauty! I got this for $1999 (cheaper now). BUT - you have to make some adjustments to get it that way. For starters - TURN OFF THE SOAP OPERA EFFECT. This makes every show seem "live" which can look awful (Simply turn on Game Low Latency in the video settings to stop this). An increase in contrast and back lighting (NOT brightness) did the trick for me. The menu is so user friendly and the remote has a keyboard on the back for the robust smart functions. Some say the sound is bad - and most flat panels are but for on board speakers, these aren't that bad. My living room is 20' x 20' and the speakers on it go loud enough for me. But, if your making this TV a movie theater or a sports bar - you might want to get a sound bar. Last but not least - the best thing about this I think is the built in upscaling to 4K. Some TV's overdo it on this but this one is more low key on that. It is noticeable and I (like some others on here) think it is just right. BTW, the screen isn't as reflective and some for those with a lot of windows in the room, etc. Hope this simple info helped. For a 70" 4K TV that steps up to bat with Samsung and LG, check this one out in the store if you can first - for the price and what you get, it might be just the right mix.

I researched for months and went back and forth between Sony and Samsung. However, once I decided to go up to 70 inches I knew these brands would be way over budget. So, I looked into Vizio and I am thrilled I did. This tv is crisp with thin lines on the edge which makes it look great above our fireplace. This was definitely the right choice based on quality and size.

This TV has a really nice, sharp image of a logo when you first turn it on. I can't tell you much after that because I didn't have it properly mounted and it popped right off my wall, hit the ground with a crash, and stopped working. It's totally my fault. I'd write more, but I'm having a hard time seeing the screen through my tears. TV is 10/10. My wall mounting skills are 0/10.

I have had this TV for 3 months now and have had no problems. Had the Geek Squad install it and it has performed excellent so far. This TV has so many options I still haven't found or used them all. I have a 5.1 sound system and Blue Ray player. Because of other comments I used the TV speakers a couple of times and found them to be OK if you don't have a sound system. I have this TV on on the average of 12 to15 hrs every day and so far it is flawless. For me money very well spent.
