For the record, after it sitting in rice for a couple of days, it came back to life! I am happy not only with the quality, but also the price point of this.

Better Off New

In the past, I've had good luck with Best Buy refurbs. Not this time. First thing to note, the AAAA battery is NOT included, inspite of the statement on the web page saying that it is. The first one came with a complete kit including instruction page, minus a battery and one nib. After calling customer service, the second one (I had to return the first one to a store, no prepaid shipper was provided) came without the instruction sheet, a broken nib holder, and NO BATTERY. Returned again. People at the store were very nice and understanding, but the web page still says it includes the AAAA battery. Don't bother, this is obviously not their best effort.
