Didn't work for my application MBR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My older Windows Vista era HP desktop uses the older MBR organizational standard for the formatting / partions. It would not see the drive larger than 2TB. New(er) standard GPT. Looked into work around. Just to keep it simple I decided to return the 4TB and go with the 2TB WD Black. Never had a WD drive fail on me, ever... ;-)

Good HDD for the price.

Gets a little warm but not bad. Mainly using it as storage. Not really recommend it for a boot drive. Get an SSD for that. Replacing an 8 year old drive.
