Bough it on sale, reliable brand name, 4T at 7200RPM Easy to install with No BIOS detection problems very good read/write data performance as compared to other previously owned hard drives. so far been running very quiet about a month with no problems. 5 year warranty highly recommend to buy it.

I bought three of these and after a month they are all working as expected. I have bought the other brands over the years and have dealt with a few recalls but I have never had a problem with the WD drives. The drives are a little loud while searching but that is to be expected with a drive this large. I would recommend this to others.

I've put about 2 TB of data in this and it hasn't had any issues with RAID. Had it for several months this now and it's life is still 99%

Got this for a friend He's had no problems with it.

Installed in my kids computer for more game storage. Install was easy and set up worked great. So far so good with out any issues.

the 4 TB internal HD was defective, Geek Squad checked it out, however, they just confirmed it. Although they they made a point of telling me the original HD is failing and were more than willing to sell me another and install it. Funny how they never seem to be able to fix things. We bought the $200 Best Buy Geek squad fix your home smart TV, cell phones, computers, etc. But regardless of whatever we ask to have fixed or cleaned or whatever.....they can't do. FYI, desktop is in for 2nd day just to install the replacement 4 tb HD, should be like hour MAX, and you'd think because of the delays they would move it up and get it out. NOW YOU HAVE A VERY DISSATISFIED customer

Great purchase. Bestbuy carries the hest deals on pc and electronic items even thru covid without price gaging. Graphics card for MRSP was nowhere ti be found but at bestbuy.

So far, so good. Purchased this HD to store all gaming data for our gaming PC. Works as advertised. My only criticism is that it did not come with a SATA cable, and the PC did not have an extra loose one, so we had to order one before being able to install it.

Hard to go wrong with a WD Black hard drive. I bought it to act as a backup drive in my new build.

Bought on sale. Installed in desktop computer, powered up, formatted and good to go. My kid had filled up the main ssd on his computer - mostly with game downloads. This was installed on his machine to move the gaming stuff over.

I have always had really good luck with Western Digital hard drives, especially the "black" versions. This drive works exactly as advertised and exactly as I expected. Very pleased!

Works great , must have for someone who will have good library of games

Be advised that this "performance" hard drive has only 64mb of cache memory vs 256mb that is available on other WD Black 4TB models. Unfortunately, Best Buy only carries this model. You can get the 256mb cache model on Amazon. Go the western digital site and search for the 256mb model number then plug into Amazon, B&H, etc.

Makes a loud grinding sound. Loudwr than any previous hard drive i have had

This WD Black is dependable and worth the extra cost.

These are great hard drives I have used the as black in the past great drive.

Great drive for the price - fast and reliable with tons of storage. I just wish high end SSD over 2TB were this affordable. Way faster than a 5400RPM drive
