Although not explicitly stated, this is a WD10EZEX HDD. Price was equivalent to Amazon, and with my rewards points, was significantly less. I needed a new HDD to upgrade my 8 year old system and this worked flawlessly. Great price, great product.

Needed something in a pinch and have been using in old nas as replacement. It has been solid for over 7 months so far… price is right if fits your needs.

I've owned both seagate and western digital hard drives and it seems that western digital is much more reliable and slightly cheaper than seagate. Iv'e had more corrupted hard drivers from seagate than western digital. Just my experience.

This drive was easy to install and it works great! I'm not tech savvy at all, but after reading the directions and watching a youtube video, I installed this drive all by myself in a HP slimline desktop. It works great and has more storage space than my original drive.

I would recommend a western Digital HD to anybody replacing a hard drive. Their price is usually the same, or $5 more for the drives, however the reliability over a Seagate/Hitachi/Toshiba drive is where the value comes in. What's your data worth? I'll spend the extra $5!

After a hard drive failure, I chose this drive to be my main operating system drive. It has plenty of room for multiple operating systems and storage space too. The higher RPMs and transfer rate make it very fast and WD has always been reliable.

I always buy WD Blue...never an issue. I leave my system on for years and only reboot once a week and the WD HDD's always work and are very quiet. Can't beat the price at BB

I honestly don't know a thing about Hard Drives, but we bought this one to use with a surveillance system. It has been recording 24/7 for 3 months and it's still not full. It's doing what we bought it to do. I would recommend this to anyone.

I had a hard drive go out and headed to Best Buy for a quick fix . The Geek squad recommended WD Mainstream internal Serial ATA hard drive . I also had them install it . Took it home and it works awesome ! Could not be more happy .

Had a harddrive crash in the desktop and replaced with this one. Easy install works great and has more memory. Much cheaper than buying a whole new computer

Good performance and capacity. I am running it as the primary boot disk with Linux Mint 18 and grub boot selector. Also still running windows XP on a separate disk. I need both Linux & XP on this machine. I have win 7 on another box.

I purchased two of these drives for my small office server. I know they are not necessarily server drives, but I needed to watch the budget. So far they are working great and they are very quiet.

We will generally only use WD or HGST hard disk drives. I'm glad to see that the "mainstream" WD is now the Blue model as most people will be using this as a primary drive. The faster rotational speed and overall performance jump from the Green drives is nice. I wish the drives still had a 3yr factory warranty but pretty much everyone has gone to 1-2yr other than on SSDs and enterprise class drives.

I have several of these HDs and use them for backup with a Newer Tech Voyager unit - I can insert them and hot swap. They're fast, inexpensive and always work. I store images and other data, have been doing this for years.

Great Product for a Great Price! The size of the hard drive is amazing. After installation of the new hard drive - the performance of my computer was great. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Matter of fact, my son will be purchasing one also.

I've had the drive about a month now and I have not had any problems with it. I am using as a secondary storage drive with an SSD as my boot. This WD installed right into the system and I've had no problems with it. I knocked off a star because there is no mounting hardware other than screws and no sata cable, and best buy's prices on sata cables is higher than they should be.

I purchased the WD HDD I TB size to upgrade an old PC for my wife (3 years old) for her 59th anniversary and she loved it. The new WD 1TB HDD provided a huge space for saving pictures & files. Worked excellent and is very fast. We are very pleased

Good product and easy to install. Great price. Replaced a failing hard drive of same type that was 5 years old and heavily used.

Replaced a failing drive with this one. Now I have twice the space, and a faster system, as the old drive was very slow due to errors. A very long backup of old drive restored to this drive in 15 minutes.
