Easy to install. Works great. The transfer rate is excellent At times, it hits consistently 75 Mega Bytes/sec. Really nothing to complain about. It is all positive so far.

This disk drive is very fast. This is my second WD drive in my PC. I have been using a WD 640 GB for the past 6 years as my primary drive. The new 1 TB was easy to install.

I had to replace my wife's crashed drive and this WD drive was a great price and works like a charm. It's also faster than her older one so it's a double win!

I just installed it in a computer that I am updating, increasing the storage from 75 gb to 1tb. along with an upgrade in the OS. The installation was straight forward with no problems.

I used this to upgrade the drive in my Consolidated DVR. The DVR box recognized it, installed it's proprietary software and booted successfully. I went from a small number of HD recording hours to hundreds and it runs cool and quiet in my bedroom.

I needed a hard drive for a project I was working on, and this hard drive has tons of space and is very quick (for an hdd anyway)

First purchased wd 2tb which would not work for me.. exchanged for 1tb which installed and works flawlessly

this 1tb drive is a perfect secondary drive to go with my 240gb ssd main drive. plenty of space to save your music, movies, and games and photos on. price is nice too.

What makes this drive great, would be price, performance,durability and western digital has always ben my go to drive which I use in all my computers. Also provides great customer and technical support. And provides great warranty on all there drives.

My hard drive needed replacing. The cost of this drive made the repair much less painful! It's cheap, it works, and it's as fast or faster than the stock drive on my Dell Inspiron One. It was also bigger than the stock 500 GB as well.

I've had this drive in use for awhile now and I can say it's a workhorse! The installation was simple-no bugs to install. Works flawlessly even with my upgrade to Windows 10.

Runs great. Lots of room even if your not gaming. After installing windows still had plenty of room for more programs. Quiet and fast. Installed with no problems.
