    Although it's not a caviar black, it serves it's pupose. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a midrange hard drive. Easy to set up. Acronis software is a plus(it's not a complete package, however. It's just the basic but enough for common needs).

    I housed this in an HD enclosure. I use this as a backup for various large data files. Transfer rates are very good for read and write. Setting up as external HD in enclosure was simple, without issues.

    Thanks to the Geek Squad, I am now a WD believer. When my Hard Drive CRASHED, this was the answer to all the problems. The price was right and they installed in a day and got me back in business.
