    My old WD hard drive (2-3 years old) was starting to show reliability issues. I purchased this one as a replacement for my home PC. It went in fine and has been working appropriately. The fact that my old drive only made it 3 years is concerning, but I didn't have time to fully diagnose what was wrong with it.

    Excellent quality 1TB 3 1/2" Seagate internal HD. It can be used to replace just about any internal HD. I have had very few problems with Seagate internal HD compared to other brands.

    I purchased this for my laptop not realize that it was for a desktop. The printing on the box should be more visible when stating what type of system the product is to be used for. I was able to return it to the store with no problems but I cost me my time.

    Western Digital hard drives are hard to beat. When in doubt, make sure you are buying quality hard drives for your computer Western Digital wins my personal recommendation.

    the only thing I would like to point out is the the plug on the back could be a bit stronger. The reason I had to replace the original is that the plastic around the plug broke and would not stay plugin.
