This hard drive is really good for what it is. It was pretty responsive, but obviously cannot compare it to my SSD. I use this hard drive as a secondary hard drive to store my files that i don't use much, but overall it is a nice drive.

WD Blue makes great hard drives , there well used for anything other then gaming

I usually select either WD or Seagate, with HGST coming in third place. You are comparing apples to oranges but if you rate based on price and warranty you should be able to choose between any of the three for the best deal.

This hard drive is very quiet and works quickly. It does come with a decent warranty. I used this replace my iMac's old hard drive, which failed. It fit well and formatted with OSX with no issues.

Hard drives are pretty much a commodity item. For this size drive, 6 MB SATA, available to pick up by walking in the store at a good price is great!
