This drive is just I needed to upgrade the much needed space for my computer. It was easy to install and use the software for file transferring to the new drive. I would surely by this brand again

Easy to install works well. Does what a hard drive is supposed to do.

The drive installed easily and was recognized by Windows 10 without issue. The Acronis software that accompanied it, however, did not perform the functions advertised, such as transferring the data from the original disk to the much larger partition on the new disk. I had to make the disk one large partition using the Acronis software, then modify the partition size using the Windows disk manager.

Great Hard drive for gaming, it was easy to install, and has taken my gaming to a new level

This is my first gaming PC and this HD was recommend by several friends. It does it jobs, I probably have 20+ games on the HD with other documents and personal items. It fits perfectly in a regular size storage cage within a PC case.

Bought on sale for 39.99. Went to my local store to purchase. The drive is great, 7200rpm, much quicker than my old 500gb 5900rpm wd drive it replaced. I took a star off because it didnt show a limit and i wanted ro buy two and my local store refused. The store also had problems matching thier own website deal. Took 40 mins, so if you can purchase online and pickuo in store it will save you alot lf time.

Desktop OS generating BSOD events. Decided to rebuild OS. Wanted to go to RAID and this was my opportunity. Purchased two drives and performed reload at a RAID 0 to see if BSOD stop. But final step will be to add existing drive to array and go to RAID 5. Unfortunately BSODs returned after last few windows updates installed, my hunch. But have the speed and safety that RAID 5 will provide (with backups using my acronis software, of course)

I've bought 3 or 4 of these for my clients. They are easy to install and perform as advertised.

Have purchased many Western Digital hard drives over the years and always had excellent service from them. These days you might want to try a WD SSD drive to speed up your boot and shutdown times.

This drive is extremely quiet yet fast. No formatting required and lite weight.

Used to replace a failing 5400 OEM drive in older 7YO Dell desktop. Install was easy. set up of Windows 10 went without a hitch. Runs much faster and more stable. Drive was $60 on sale and well worth it. gave new life to an old computer.

I was looking for a durable and affordable drive for a RAID system that I was "playing" around with at home. Everyone I respect recommended this drive and it has not disappointed. Great price, easy installation, and so far it has been incredibly durable! I will be buying more!!!

It was a fair price, and it was available at my local best buy store for immediate pickup. I installed it on my Asus desktop. The total install took about 30 minutes. After that, you will have to do several downloads/updates, but other than that, I'm all set to go. I mainly do Word, excel, PowerPoint, and a little SPSS for school, and I'm happy. I don't know how it is with any type of intense media (pictures, videos, and music) management.

My hard drive crashed and I needed a replacement ASAP. This was on sale and I picked it up. Capacity is a bit small but for my purpose (temporary replacement) it's fine. The drive is quiet with no loud clicks that Seagate brand drives are notorious for.

WD makes a great HDD for the price. When I purchased this drive, it was $58 and replaced a 750GB Seagate drive that had failed. I use the drive for storage of music, movies, and photos, and it works perfectly for that.

Installing hard disk was easy, I get a good performance, the place to install up to computer chase.

My computer went kaput. I had to get a hard drive for my computer. I was inexpensive and it is like having a new computer without the cost of buying another computer. I recommend this highly for someone who doe not have to store too much data.

Great Hard-drive for the price it is capable of holding a perfect amount of information and data. As well as process it all pretty fast. So for the price, it’s a perfect hard-drive to get.
